It would be good if we can at the device dashboard, select one or multiple devices and execute (RUN Now) a non-applied & unscheduled patch profile
In other words, to assign a patch profile from the list of non-applied & unscheduled patch profile to run immediately and after that remove that patch from the device.

Advanced options in IT automation profiles (scan and reboot window)
Support told me that new updates on servers will be searched at the start of the IT automation profile which leads to
- higher bandwidth usage
- more time for applying patches
- reboot time which may is outside of customer's windowWhat we need:
Scan window: set time window for scanning (e.g. on day of patching in the morning/afternoon)
Patch window: set time window for the execution of the patches

Show hard drive active time in the metrics window.
Show hard drive active time in the metrics window. Helps to know that some process is using the disk drive at a high percentage and this might be slowing the computer for the end user.

Role to allow customer creation for st line technicians
The ability for a role to allow customer creation. for example 1st liner technician needs to be able to assign contacts and companies to a new ticket and request. as of right now this CANT be done without giving FULL admin access to a role.
It would be very helpful for new contacts to be able to be linked to a new company name. Without a company name they are stuck on unassigned which affects the reporting side of things.2 votes -

Wireless device specification | speed
In the device dashboard and also in reports the ability to identify if a device is connected via wireless and what wireless hardware speed / standard is supported. This would be very useful to recommend either upgrades to workstations or access points or both. The idea is to be able to identify performance opportunities, offer solutions and maximize performance for the client.

Ability to decide when the IT automation Profile report is sent
Ability to decide when the automated reports gets sent from the IT automation profile. When it runs only an hour later, it always shows as most of them have failed. But 24 hours later, it will show better results.

Working From Home Session Status
It would be good to be able to see if a user is currently on a remote session and also able to end their sessions. Maybe have working from home status icon on their device with menu options to disconnect user.

Recommended merging of tickets
Periodically, we'll have emails come into Atera that generate new tickets instead of link to an existing ticket. It'd be a really simple and huge quality of life improvement if Atera can auto-suggest merging tickets. For example, if an email comes in for a customer with a subject like "RE: Recycle old servers", and there's already a ticket for that same custom with subject "Recycle old servers", when I click into the ticket generated for "RE: Recycle old servers", have some sort of button to say, "It looks like there's already a ticket, should I merge them?"

AnyDesk - Paste Clipboard as Keystrokes
AnyDesk is a really good tool, but for us it's let down by one thing, missing a button to paste your clipboard as keystrokes.
Splashtop has this feature and it's invaluable for us, as we use it to paste complex passwords into server logon screens. Unfortunately CRTL C and CTRL V doesn't work on these password boxes.
So when logging in to a server using AnyDesk, we have to type out really complex passwords which can take some time as they are all different.
A 'Paste Clipboard as Keystrokes' button will go amazingly with the newly implemented CTRL ALT DEL button!

Automated rules based on Criteria
Automated rules based on things like below
- device type - Server / Laptop / Desktop
- OS Type
- OS Version
- etc.
This would then allow us to setup automation rules for newly installed agents or publish IT Automation based on criteria like so
If "computer os" is "windows 10" then install these applications
this automates the ability to install AV / Applications / etc. when a new agent comes online for a customer
this in turn allows for an agent to be installed onto a computer which will then automate chocolaty to install
we would also need options to install webroot / bitdefender which would also allow us to save the key for a customer so that when we install webroot it would automatically be installed
i.e.
If "computer os" = "windows 10" then install AV (using the already existing script on your site) with key = "customer key"
each Automated rule should be able to be configured for every site... just selected sites.. or just 1 site
