add software inventory report for linux devices
currently, linux agents do not provide any software inventory data. while basic hardware information and health stats are available, there is no visibility into installed packages or applications. this is essential for audits, compliance, and troubleshooting. please add software inventory support for linux devices—similar to what is available for windows and mac.

Atera agent install window
The new agent install wizard window is rather large and when running split windows, even in 1080 resuoution, the "next" and "back" buttons are offscreen. It's just a minor annoyance, but would save a lot of time in the long run if the window was more compact.

Monitoring of phonenumbers and SIP-Trunks
A possibility of monitoring the availability of phonenumbers and SIP-Trunks would be great. You should also get a notification, if a number is unreachable.

Add more intelligence behind the "Security Risk" login block
With Atera integrating more AI, I'd like to see it help determine legitimate tech logins. I use 4 devices to connect to the Atera console (desktop at work, 2 work laptops at home, work cell). While I occasionally need to access Atera via app outside of work/home, 90% of my access is from those 2 places/IPs, and yet I still frequently run into the "Security Risk" block where I need to wait for an email in order to actually log in.
I'm sure I can't be the only one using multiple access devices that runs into this, so wanted to add it as feedback to hopefully get the detection more accurate.

Ability to bulk update fields on asset types
When adding a new Asset Field, you then have to manually go and add the new field to each individual Asset Type one by one. Would be nice to be able to select all necessary Asset Types and do a bulk update to add the new field at one time.

Detailed Metrics for last hour or last 4 hours
We now have access to Metrics "Last 24 hours", "Last week" and "Last month".
But now i have customer, says it has issues for the last hour.
I cannot trace detailed information for the last hour.
It would be beneficial to see detailed information of the last hour/4 hours. That could give more insight to locate an live issue.
Additional.
Information which programs used those resources.Sometimes we receive e-mail that indicated high cpu and which programs where using those resources, so Atera has already something that has access to this information, it is only not viewable in the portal.

Bitlocker Key in App
Can't believe this still isn't in the app after all the issues we've had lately.
Need the ability to see the Bitlocker key for a device from the Mobile App.
When I'm out and about have had it where you need to let someone know and can't access it or see it from the app.15 votes -
More Granularity In Update Postponement
Currently the only options when selecting to "Postpone" updates on Window is "Critical" and "Non-critical".
With this in place, Microsoft Defender Definition updates are getting marked as "Non-critical" and therefore stop any ability to actual have "Non-critical" updates be postponed without making devices less secure.
Allow more granularity in which specific types of updates we can postpone with different timelines, e.g. put in line with the options in OS Patch Management:
Critical updates
-
Security Updates
- Security updates
- Definition updates
- Update rollups
-
Service Packs
- Service pack updates
- Feature packs
- Updates
-
Drives and tools
- Hardware driver updates
- Office updates
- Tool updates

Custom fields in device note not visible
Custom Field Device Notes Not Persisting
Issue:
Custom field device notes are not visible by default. To view them, the field needs to be expanded. However, once the page is refreshed or navigated away from, the field collapses again and does not remain in the expanded state.Expected Behavior:
Device notes should either be visible by default or remain expanded after leaving and returning to the page.Actual Behavior:
The field always collapses, requiring manual expansion each time.Impact:
This makes it inconvenient to quickly review notes and reduces usability.1 vote -

Sort by activity status
On the tickets page, please add the ability to sort by activity status, add new columns, for example date created, ticket age and the ability to simply click on the title of the columns to sort it instead of using filters, and instead of having a small coloured dot, it will be more noticeable if the entire text is highlighted.

Make url clickable from script based custom field
So i basically have PowerShell script that outputs a device specific url.
This works so far but there is a catch. The ouput of the script gets interpreted as plain text (obviously). But when i copy the same text in the "normal" custom field with type text the link does get recognized as one and is clickable (you can see how in the added picture).
-> So you don't have to copy paste the link manuallyMy usecase for this would be to automatically generate a Link to a device vendors support site via the serial number.
So I fetch the serial number via PowerShell, then implement it in a Link for the serial number search. So i basically have PowerShell script that outputs a device specific url.

New UI Customer View - Favorites Needs to be its own section
In order to get to favorites you have to create a filter and choose favorites, in the old you UI you just clicked the favorites tab. So the new UI creates more work to get to favorites, which favorites is used CONSTANTLY by or organization.

A precise control over the device reboot from Configuration policy
A precise control over the device reboot from Configuration policy
What we need:
We need to be able to specify a deadline for automatic PC restart and application of updates. Similar to the setting in Group Policy, the deadline time frame can be between 2 and 14 days. After the deadline has passed, devices restart regardless of active hours. Currently, it is between 15 to 180 minutes. What we have in Atera through configuration policy:
• Disable auto-restart with logged-on users
• Restart outside of active hours
• Restart after selected time period
o 15 – 180 minutes
• Allow end users to control device restarts
o Prompt users to restart their devices
o Force restart option after a certain number of prompts
o Option to customize the toast messageWhat we have in MS Windows server Group Policy:
• Turn off auto-restart for updates during active hours
o the PC will not automatically restart after updates during active hours
• Always automatically restart at the scheduled time
o A restart timer will always begin immediately after Windows Update installs important updates, instead of first notifying users on the login screen for at least two days
o The restart timer can be configured to start with any value from 15 - 180 minutes
• Specify deadline before auto-restart for update installation
o 2 – 14 days past the default (7 days) restart date
o Restart can happen inside active hours
• Specify deadlines for automatic updates and restarts
o Updates will be downloaded and installed as soon as they are offered and automatic restarts will be attempted outside of active hours
o Once the deadline has passed, restarts will occur regardless of active hours, and users will not be able to reschedule
o Set a grace period for feature updates and quality updates to guarantee users a minimum time to manage their restarts once updates are installed
o Option to set device to delay restarting until both the deadline and grace period have expired
• Specify Engaged restart transition and notification schedule for updates
o Control the timing before transitioning from Auto restarts scheduled outside of active hours to Engaged restart, which requires the user to schedule
o The transition period can be set between 0 – 30 days from the time restart becomes pending
o Specify the number of days a user can snooze Engaged restart reminder notifications (1 – 3 days)
o Specify the deadline in days before automatically scheduling and executing a pending restart regardless of active hours (2 – 30 days)
• No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations
o Only notify the user to restart the computerA precise control over the device reboot from Configuration policy

Version-lock
In development environments, it's critical to be able to set a specific version to applications, which cannot be upgraded further.
It's mostly used for browsers and infrastructure (For example, smbclient for domain-binding changed its tags and broke processes).
Setting up version lock for all packages (not just excluded windows updates) will allow for stable systems.2 votes -

I would love for you guys to offer KnowBe4 as an addon app. They tend to prefer working with larger vendors.

Import Public Holidays for Business Hours
Currently, there is only an option to manually add public holidays in the Business Hours settings. However, it would be better if we could import public holidays from a CSV or TXT file, or from a URL
