  1. Wake-on-LAN: It’s a brilliant feature that for the most part works really well, however sometimes a local IP doesn’t get reported from the machine to Atera. It’s got one and it’ll be registered with the DHCP server on the network etc, but because it wasn’t reported to Atera, Atera can’t wake it up. I know the device could be woken up, and I then have to use additional tools to wake the device up, so if there was an override of some sort, or the Wake-on-LAN feature used the public IP address to define the network for instance, this would/should…

  3. Can the agent be updated for the M1 chip Macs? The current agent requires the use of Rosetta 2. This is fine in the short term, but the M1 has been available since November 2020

  4. Within Atera it asks that we define the business Public IP. What would be nice is to view if a user is working at the office or remotely when looking at devices under the customer name.
    One could have a simple reference point to the Public IP that is defined and display a "true statement" if the user is at the office or remotely.

  5. Hello, could you consider the idea to improve deployment of scripts, maybe permitting to choose more than one script at one time? Could be useful selecting more scripts and let them run one after another just like the install in the Software Bundles.

  6. You installed the Atera agent on a computer running Windows 7 in 2019, and then during its time it's been in place upgraded to Windows 10, taken a few Windows 10 build updates and is now on 21h2, or that Mac that was running Catalina when you last got in front of it, but it's now on Monterey.

    A visual timeline of these updates and patches would be very helpful. For those of us left floundering during the first day after Microsoft broke L2TP recently with an update, it would have been a great tool for piecing together "we've got…

  9. On older computers people tend to hold down Ctrl and F12 until they see the browser appear to enter ticket details. But by then multiple keystrokes have been recorded hence the ticket browser loads over and over and over again. Need a software "debounce" feature in the agent to fold multiple Ctrl and F12 requests over a given time period (perhaps a few seconds) into one request.

  10. It frequently takes forever for an agent to come online. Sometimes even longer for Remote access to be available. This may be a Splashtop-only issue.
    Can a system Tray Icon be implemented with some basic functionality like Request Remote Assistance? Repair Atera Agent. Request chat.This would hopefully poke the system into recognizing an agent is online and available for Remote Control or whatever the customer seeks help with.

  11. Other RMM/PSA's have the ability to 'remote desktop' in to the machine via a loopback from its remote control app, AND logs in with stored admin credentials. This let's technicians login as admin without needing to know the admin creds.

    The same Atera competitor even cycles the admin password automaticly after x time, Making credential security even higher

  12. Have the ability to block certain websites from being loaded or block all but the whitelisted ones from the agent. IE Block Tiktok on corporate PC's.

  14. Hi. Software inventory to have automatic/inteligence to know which is :
    Managed - Indicates company allow for this software to be use.
    Restricted - Indicates that this application is not approved for use in the organization, blocked for future installation
    Needs Review - Indicates that these applications require review

    This can be one part of Potential Unwanted Application (PUA) also.

  15. The current Agent API only allows you to retrieve info on a device. I can envision utilizing API in our Client-facing dashboard to allow end-users to 'self help' by allowing access to run certain scripts (Restart Print spooler, etc)

  17. Looks like there's no way to select multiple agents while in Folder View. The check box to the left of the agent is missing..
    I.E. if I want to move recently agents from the "Uncategorized" folder to a "Specific Folder" I need to access the agent one by one and change the Agent Relationship or go to All Devices, identify the agents in question and multi-select them to that I can apply the Relationship to all of them at the same time.

  18. In my environment (and others too for licensing, security, and auditing purposes) being able to see the usernames of a users cached windows credentials would be very helpful.

    It if could be visible from a devices 'overview' screen that would be ideal, but even via a script/report would work.

  20. Currently, in the "Agents" section we cannot select ALL customers when specifing setting filters. Sometimes we need to select all customers EXCEPT some of them and this is not possible.
    So, add an option to select ALL customers
