  2. Show hard drive active time in the metrics window. Helps to know that some process is using the disk drive at a high percentage and this might be slowing the computer for the end user.

  4. Looking at the event log, I can see the AteraAgent service restarts every minute or so. This floods the windows event log with useless noise.

    Is it really necessary for the service to restart so frequently when there have been no configuration changes. If there are configuration changes, it should not be necessary for the service to restart. The only time that should be necessary is when the agent image itself has changed (like an upgrade).

  6. When running down the device list and doing manual reboots it would be really helpful having the Reboot Status known, if you manually already sent the Restart request (Clicked Restart) maybe the Reboot Needed can change to Restart Sent or something like that. Knowing if I already clicked restart on a specific machine is big!! Please Please Please!!! Thanks!!

  7. When generating a new agent installer, after selecting the OS and assigning the new agent to a customer, the third step is to download it. Clicking the "Download" button works fine if we want to download the agent installer to the local computer and put it on a flash drive or something. Only problem with that is that there have been many occassions when I need to send the installer via e-mail, and most e-mail services block this file for security purposes, as it is an .exe file.   8. Bind Chat to Agent, NOT the User

    MANY of our clients have users that do not have a company email. This makes it impossible to chat with them. We need the ability to chat with whoever is sitting at the machine instead of attempting to target the user specifically. Then perhaps allow the ability to assign it to a user or ticket.

    This brings up the fact that we should be able to assign an agent to any ticket we want without it being bound to the user.

  10. I really like the agent metrics graph when opening an agent device. It would super helpful if the graph could also show network usage (per adapter - wifi vs wired) and hard drive space usage over time. If a device is suddenly showing a full drive, it would nice to see the usage history. Especially if it suddenly got full over the past couple days.

  11. We have a customer how have som USB license disk.
    These USB Flash pin, does not have any free storage space at all, and the server gives us alarms.

    We could pause an alarm for X days, but the best solutions will be if we could skip disks from the monitoring, but still keep monitor the other disks.

  12. Choose retired on a customer level: certain customers have different life cycle and they don’t want to pay for devices that they don’t touch for 30 days and then others for 45. Right now, I’m going through the data and then filtering out

  13. We would like the ability to print the Software Inventory for one device individually.

    This would save hours when onsite to replace a workstation to have a paper sheet to reference rather than dig through currently installed programs.

    Current reports allow me to print all software installed for a client, but not selective to an individual workstation.

  15. It would be nice to get alerts (perhaps this could be made a threshold) when a device is offline for a configurable amount of time (hours, days, weeks etc.)
    This would be great to see if there are devices that are customers use infrequently or not at all.

  16. Can the agent be updated for the M1 chip Macs? The current agent requires the use of Rosetta 2. This is fine in the short term, but the M1 has been available since November 2020

    M1 processors are currently supported via Rosetta, the V2 chips are yet to.

    While we won't be implementing this idea in the immediate future, it has been added to our list for future consideration.

    We continuously review user feedback to inform our development priorities, so your idea remains on our radar.

  17. It would be great if you could define in the settings when the device should start on weekdays, then you could make the updates at this time, for example, and you could turn on the devices controlled for the customer schedule, which would help many customers.

  18. I personally thing Atera should have its own Remote Desktop software in addition to having the integration of other 3rd party solution such as teamviewer, splastop etc. for those who have them and wish to use them.

    However i think having 1 complete solution provides easier management and smother running of system especially when it come to updates (sometimes splash top crash's or cant connect to agent)

    In addition to this, i am limited to the features using 3rd party remote solutions provide thought Atera, which means i have to pay Atera and another Subscription cost for a full version…
