Linux agent
The ability to install Agents on Linux devices and start to support and monitoring them
We’re excited to announce the availability of the Atera Linux agent allowing you to manage Linux-powered devices.
The new Linux agent allows you to:
- View device health information and get alerted on CPU, memory, and disk utilization
- Set alerts by using a pre-set Threshold Profile or by creating your own
- Access the terminal and remotely send commands to your Linux-powered devices
- Get notified when a device goes offline
- Monitor agents through the mobile app
- Remote-in with AnyDesk (coming soon)
- Deploy scripts to optimize your workflows (coming soon)
You can learn more about installing the agent and its complete list of capabilities in this article.

This is taking far too long and we will be changing to a competing product if we don't see support prior to the end of this year.

When this feature become a reality I will sign, not before. The roadmap is just the bigger deception of our time.

Lets hope universal WOL will work and network discovery can be run off this. Maybe SNMP monitoring can actually work?

This is very much required.
Needs to have the ability to install on and work with devices with no GUI. Including remote access. -

Honestly, in my opinion, I think it is a characteristic that Atera needs to be on the RMM podium. When will we have a beta version at least?

I honestly feel lied to. When I signed on with Atera just over a year ago, I did so because i was told that a Linux agent was in the works and would be out in beta soon. A year later and still no linux agent. Not even beta.
When is this going to be a priorty for Atera?

Maybe the most important feature for us

Lack of Linux agent support is why we have to consider another RMM tool to manage fleet of remote Ubuntu laptops. However I am happy to see this is being considered.
Something simple at first, like remote console and basic inventory, and new features/improvements added over time would work great.

This is a must have. I've been pleading for a Linux agent for almost three years now. Would love to know the timeframe for this. I'm currently having to monitor and administer my Linux server though another RMM tool.

We just started using Atera, we are even on the trial edition and the linux agent is a must for server monitoring. The SNMP at least gives you some insight but not near the windows agents monitor. We currently run Debian 10 for our web servers and company-specific softwares. This would be a plus.

New Customer here! Very excited with Atera's product. I have 50+ linux servers RHEL and Ubuntu through out my customers environment. I appreciate that I can at least use SNMP to monitor them. However it would be so nice to have an agent I can just install on them. This way I can have the same feel as the windows agents. Nice graph of memory, cpu and disks. Network traffic would be awesome as well to start.
Ultimately, it would be great to have a web based SSH session and package management through YUM and APT. Keep up the great work
