Linux agent
The ability to install Agents on Linux devices and start to support and monitoring them
We’re excited to announce the availability of the Atera Linux agent allowing you to manage Linux-powered devices.
The new Linux agent allows you to:
- View device health information and get alerted on CPU, memory, and disk utilization
- Set alerts by using a pre-set Threshold Profile or by creating your own
- Access the terminal and remotely send commands to your Linux-powered devices
- Get notified when a device goes offline
- Monitor agents through the mobile app
- Remote-in with AnyDesk (coming soon)
- Deploy scripts to optimize your workflows (coming soon)
You can learn more about installing the agent and its complete list of capabilities in this article.

Currently we rely on Lansweeper for this function using their LSagent, however; we would love to phase out that software in favour of Atera. Having the three OS domains covered for at least monitoring/inventory purposes would be ideal.

Absolutely need Atera for Debian, like,,,,, yesterday. A lot of our technicians arent using windows on their devices and being unable to leverage the same remote access we rely on for 98% of the rest of our workflow is a major pain.

Hi
When will this agent for linux come out?
It's been a year since you guys announced, so far we don't have any feedback on your release date.
Thanks -

We want to migrate all monitorings to Atera to cancel our other monitoring platform. Therefore, a linux agent (Debian) is needed urgently! Thank you guys!

Is there ETA for this? monitoring servers with esxi without possibility to generate basic hardware metrics graphics is a major missing for serving customer.

When? When are we getting this as we've been told several times it's in the next rollout...

Definitely NEED this to be considered a true RMM. I am holding out waiting, but I will admit, We were hesitant to wait when we signed up due to this critical missing feature. We don't just support Windows, we manage servers as well and require this feature to do our jobs efficiently and cost effectively. Looking forward to it and would appreciate an ETA even for beta.
