Implementation of this would take less effort than fixing the phone apps as well as use an already proven notification method. You could also use Telegram and Teams but I'm unaware of any pestering configuration that you could do so you keep getting the notifications while it's down until you acknowledge it but others may want that as well.

I would like to see something like how LogMeIn123 works. If Atera could have a website or even something that we self host to allow a 1 time remote connection. For now I resort to using "Quick assist" which is built into windows but it's very limited and no clipboard sharing between me and them which is what I use often.
