  2. Can we talk about how the AI and help buttons in the bottom right of the screen are always in the way ? I always seem to need to click the one element on the page that is at the bottom and covered by the buttons.

    Can we please get some additional padding added to all of the pages so that those buttons wont cover anything up.

  3. It would be great to have the public IP of the managed computer displayed in the list of computers. This way, we can easily identify if all computers in the company are working from the same location of the user/computer is working remote. This would also allow us to see server NAT information as well.

  4. Ability to transfer whole folders both ways would speed things up a lot. My beard grows long when doing anything with Atera's file transfer utility.

  5. When logging in, here's what I have to do

    1. Go to https://app.atera.com/auth0.html ("Login" button, top right, atera.com)
    2. Enter my email address, click "continue"
    3. A password field appears. Enter my password.
    4. I get a prompt to "Use fingerprint or face recognition" (which never works, it says "Something went wrong")
    5. I click "Try another method"
    6. I then click "Google Authentication or similar"
    7. On the following page a OTP field appears for my rolling code

    Only after all this can I log in and get to working.

    Now this wouldn't be so much of an issue if Atera didn't keep logging me out…

  6. When a ticket is already created, but the contact changes and the contact is not already created in Atera, I'd like to be able to create a contact from within the ticket.

  7. Provide one viewer license per company account. This viewer license allows you to display your teams dashboard on a central digital display in the office without having to use a tech license.

    That way it can be set to run 24/7 on a TV allowing management and team members to track progress and stats.

  8. The event viewer window is very small, we should be able to maximize this window. Also, it would be very good to be able to filter and search for specific events. Actually, the "Event Viewer" option from the devices is not very usable.

  12. Currently, Atera's satisfaction survey system lacks accessibility features, particularly for visually impaired users. When a ticket is resolved, Atera sends out a survey, but blind users are unable to interact with it effectively using screen readers. Key issues include the lack of attributes announcing survey options like "Very Poor," "Poor," "Matched Expectations," "Great," and "Super," which are identified only as "Blank." Additionally, attempting to click on these options does not launch the survey in the web browser. Furthermore, the web version of the survey also presents accessibility challenges.

    We request the implementation of comprehensive accessibility features within Atera's survey system.…

  14. I would love the ability to 'tag' devices, or be able to place devices in multiple folders. So you could either tag devices with 'server' or 'finance' or 'sales', or be able to put device in multiple folders, eg 'building a' or 'site b' or 'servers'.

  16. CMD and Powershell do not have the ability to use the tab button to auto-complete paths and module commands. This is a basic feature in windows and have wondered why it is not available in this platform. The auto-correct ensures you are typing the correct commands. This to me would save a ton of time when typing all of the scripts and commands that I do using theses tools. As it stands I have to go to powershell on my laptop to make sure that the command is correct. Not a time saver.

  17. Have chat open automatically and not ask for user to first accept the chat especially as the chat is not branded in anyway.

    In it's current form I feel the chat is unlikely to be useable in production.

  18. While using the new UI, pressing on various drop-down menus such as 'Select a Quick Reply Templet', 'Help Desk Topic', and 'Category' do not allow for the full text field to be displayed. For example, on 'Select a Quick Reply Template', when the template name is over 21 characters long, it just adds "..." and you cannot read the full title of the template. Therefore, when selecting, you cannot distinguish similar named templates from one another.

    My personal suggestion for a resolution to this problem could be something as simple as adding in a resizing handle to the drop-down menu…

  19. To access the Atera Knowledge base a user must make an account which they will not do. And as a technician I can't just share the Knowledge base article link with the user via the Ticket itself either. This makes the Knowledge base only useful to the technicians and not the users.
