We want use WINGET
Is it possible that Atera also supports WINGET
30 votesCongratulations on helping shape Atera! The feature you requested is currently being considered for development. Please be patient as the process can take a while or even stall to make way for other features. We’ll update you once it’s been implemented and released!

New Ticket Actions
Please add new actions to the Ticket Automations - there are basically only options for sending emails, which won't help me. Please add the ability to trigger a script and the ability to trigger a webhook.

Pass parameter/variable to auto-healing script
Currently, when a threshold alert fires, it is possible for the alert to trigger an auto-healing script to run. For example, if the Service that is being monitored stops, it is possible to assign a script to launch to start the service.
The problem is that you have to have a unique script for each service. It should be possible to pass or expose parameters/variables from the alert to the script. This way, we can develop generic scripts and reuse them for multiple threshold alerts.

Run scripts as specified user
It would be great to be able to:
--> run scripts with users - other than SYSTEM or current user
--> run scripts as credentials stored in the Atera Password-Manager24 votes -
Override threshold profile for device
e.g. a device has an additional service I want to monitor and to not create a new threshold profile, it would be easier and faster to override the current threshold profile with an additional service.
In our environment there are lots of different servers with different services to monitor and it takes a very long time to set up all threshold profiles for all different kinds of servers.24 votes -

Make 'run on offline agents' timeframe customizable for individual profiles
It would be great if the 'Run on offline agents' timeframe setting for IT Automation and Patch Management could be defined for each profile. Currently it can only be defined for all profiles.
For example, it would be great for patching or software updates to be run on offline agents for a week or more. That way they would still get the patches/updates if they were offline at the scheduled push time. However, if I have a separate profile pushing a reboot, I would never want that profile to be pushed to an offline agent when it comes back online.…

Software Patches on Patch Management
We now have the Patch Management Page on Atera, which is useful but it would be great if there were a tab within that for Software Patches, as we can already see something similar looking per device.

Updates and Patching
A possibility to update software and apps that were not installed via chocolatey and homebrew would be a very important function. This should also be possible for installations that already exist when the Atera Agent was installed.

Patch Management Page
A Patch Management page, Not a report. Where we can see all available updates. Approve/Deny/Postpone them. Also see how many devices are missing said update and click install if needed.
in the same place an overview of what devices are currently downloading/installing/updating/Failed live view
I have tried using the report and clicking install all missing patches but this does not work. However going to each individual asset and clicking select all > install works.
So to recap an actual patch management page, where we can manage all systems/customers etc

IT automation profile failure alerts
It would be great if we can add a threshold around patch management to send alerts out if patches are failed to apply, or if the automation task does not run for some reason

UAC contorol for PC
The situation is sometimes clients download free software from the internet which might contain malware, to stop this, I am suggesting a feature in the Atera agent for controlling the UAC of the client. So whenever a client needs UAC admin access, The agent blocks him and in real-time notifies the technician about the authorisation request to approve/deny. If the technician approves the request, the Agent should autofill the Admin password which can be set from the Atera dashboard, and give the client access. If the technician denies it, the message should go to the client of admin denied and…

Patch Management Notifications
Patch Management Profiles should include options to configure a custom message to pop-up for the end users. It would be nice to be able to give users a warning notice letting them know of the updates and reboot. Give the users the ability to postpone the reboot for the number the Admin allows (3 or 5 times) and after the final warning the updates are applied and rebooted.

run scripts via API
Could it be possible to run a script against an API.
We use a 3rd party helpdesk it will be good to use the helpdesk to call the API to run a sctipt. The 3rd party desk already grabs the machine details you see so we would like to run a script against it

Reboot after patch install
Similar to other reboot requests, I would like to reboot at a given time only after a patch install. For instance, a workstation would reboot at 3:00 am only after a patch requiring a reboot was installed. Kaseya has this feature and it’s something really miss.
