live tempature
Display the most recent/current/'live' temperature of the device/agent.
After getting an alert, it would be great to have the live or most recent device temperatures displayed in the agent view to confirm the thermals of the device.7 votes -

agent health report from device page
Generate agent health report from device page. When investigating a device, it would be handy to be able to generate the agent health report right from the device page instead of needing to choose reports, customer, device name then generate which takes you off the device page.

Display the current active user
The device display shows the "Last Logged User". But this information does not clearly indicate if the user is still logged in. It is often stale or incorrect, especially if more than one user is logged in.
Ideally, it should show the currently logged in user (the one that's active). And it should show their status (Active, Idle, etc...)

SMB
Good day!
It is desirable and absolutely urgent to have a threshold element with mounted network drives that can be monitored under macOS. This means that there must be a message if macOS loses the connection to the share. It shouldn't matter whether it's AFP, FTP, NFS or SMB.

Remote
It would be ideal if we can remote into a computer as a different user and not take over the current user session. It would be nice to have this so we can run in another session in the background while the current user is able to stay logged into their current session.
Kind of like how two people can remote into a server at the same time.

Notification in "Machine status unknown"
Hello,
Is there any way to get notification for every hour for "Machine status unknown"?
The Atera notification "Machine status unknown - agent has not established communication within the expected interval." was sent only once per server. This should be sent every hour while the server is offlineRegards,

See which technician is on a particular device
It would be great to see which of our technicians are on a particular device. We all work remotely and sometimes we'll jump on the same issue and can't get in because someone else is on it. We'd like to be able to tell them to log out.

Agentname / FQDN
Unfortunately, after installing the agent, only the computer name is displayed.
It would be much better and more useful to display the FQDN. Directly in the overview.
This would make it much easier to assign machines and search much faster if you know the AD. As well as simply adding new machines under a "dummy customer" (transfer) and then assigning them to the real customer. It is important that the FQDN is shown DIRECTLY in the overview.
Small adjustment, big effect.1 vote -
Availability Monitoring
Availability Monitoring - Control how often we receive alerts for a device that is offline. I can get an email alert almost every hour to let me know a device is still unavailable. After a weekend I can have up to 50 emails for a single device! If there are multiple servers offline then this is too much. We are having to turn off this feature at the moment because we just get spammed.

Use another agent as proxy or gateway for devices without internet access
Allow monitoring devices that have no internet gateway but which are in the same network than other atera agents with full internet access allowed. We have windows machines competely without default gateway entry. I think they will not be able to launch functions which need internet access but maybe we are able to monitor them by redirecting the monitoring information over an existing agent.

Submitting ticket - agent registration
Having to register the agent on multiple workstation for each user AND in citrix makes my life very difficult. I would like for the agent to pick up the currently logged in user . This is what most other agents do. Or just allow the user to put in their email to submit.
Generally people just skip doing it and then when they need help they can't submit a ticket. It's very challenging to manage.

Linux text editor support in Terminal window
None of the Linux text editors (Nano, Vi, Vim, etc.) work in the Atera portal's Terminal window for Linux clients. It's not possible to support Linux computers without being able to edit scripts and config files, and the Atera agent for Linux provides no other way to do this.

Allow agent to be installed silently via Intune
Pretty straightforward. Allow the Atera agent to be installed silently via Intune, like it could previously. The agent can be installed silently via GPO on a domain, and Intune / Azure AD is just the next iteration of that.
