Many of our office based clients "discovered" the benefits of multiple screens on their desks and were successfully using MS Remote Desktop when remoting in during the pandemic. For security reasons we've been forcing them to use Splashtop and they are very unhappy they can't view multiple screens simultaneously with Atera/Splashtop. I enquired, but as others have mentioned Business Splashtop won't integrate with Atera..... yet!

Wow nearly a year later and this problem still exists.

As a new customer this is one of the most annoying things coming from a stand alone remote system like teamviewer into an all in one rmm like atera. Feels like I've gone backwards 20 years.
Please implement this basic functionality asap.

Remote sessions: Anydesk: It doesn’t pop out with all screens. It just flips. Need with engineers with all screens. They have multiple programs open. Applications database. Have to had their emails, it’s a pain point to click there and then refresh the screen.

We need this Multiple Monitor Support Natively to Splashtop as it’s a is necessity, Im new to Atera and come to find out that the Atera Version of Splashtop is not available, hence now as a MSP in the Clients perspective I’m look bad. Now I have to find another Remote Desktop Solution as the MSP we are paying the price for not having the feature available to us. I had to contact Splashtop Support and to find out that they have Splashtop for Business, and it supports that feature. Now its cumbersome to configure and to the clines perspective it difficult to deal with. We need this fast PLEASE!! I don’t understand why this is not an option with the WORK AT HOME module and charging 5.00 per user where the user cannot us multi monitor support. This should already have been here.

I just put this same request under User Interface. Atera needs to step up on this one. It would greatly simplify support tasks in a world where multiple monitors are the norm and not an exception.

The Splashtop product advertises the ability to display multiple screens from a client workstation at once, but the "version" of Splashtop used within Atera does not allow this. Other remote control products (like Teamviewer) allow you to see all the workstation screens at once, greatly simplifying support tasks.

It would be nice if Atera supported Splashtops multi-monitor feature. Does anyone still use just one monitor anymore? I know most of my end users have 2-4 monitors. Switching from one to one is very frustrating and inefficient.
Thanks

Atera just needs to pay the fee's for the better version. Atera support said it was a limitation of Splashtop but its actually Atera not paying for the premium version.

considering screenconnect(conectwise) has done this for years it does seem an odd omission.
it can make you look a bit stupid constantly having to flick between screen

This is an important feature for me as a remote admin to be able to work on multiple monitors without having to rotate through them.

I know that Splashtop has the ability to do a dual monitor viewer.

Bump for this as well. A Tiered pricing model would work for me as well!

The other commenter is right. I would even bet if you put that in as an option for the higher priced Power Account or even made it a $10 per month per user fee instead of a $5 per month to have that option, I bet a bunch of people would do it. I know i would. I'm currently looking for a solution for a client that'll do exactly this and can't use atera remote work because it doesn't work for multi-monitors...

Hi, I spoke to Splashtop and they said that the only reason simultaneous multi monitor support wasn't included is that Atera doesn't want to pay for it. they said that they quoted Atera and you guys don't want to buy it. There is nothing for you to develop, just pay splashtop.
