Automatic problem solving / display automatic solution suggestions
it would be nice if atera could fix errors on its own. search the event logs for errors and solve them on its own or at least suggest solutions using Microsoft KB articles.

Atera's own Remote Desktop Solution
I personally thing Atera should have its own Remote Desktop software in addition to having the integration of other 3rd party solution such as teamviewer, splastop etc. for those who have them and wish to use them.
However i think having 1 complete solution provides easier management and smother running of system especially when it come to updates (sometimes splash top crash's or cant connect to agent)
In addition to this, i am limited to the features using 3rd party remote solutions provide thought Atera, which means i have to pay Atera and another Subscription cost for a full version…

Trend Micro
Trend Micro has been a go to antivirus and cloud security suite for quite a long time. Bigger competitors of Atera such as Connectwise and Kaseya have Trend integrations.

The ability to pin most used systems to the top of the customer's device list. This would be very convenient.

Legacy View
I appreicate the constant updates to the platform, but it would be really good to have the option to view the tickets in the 'legacy/old' layout. The location of the "Awaiting customer response"/"Awaiting Technician Reponse" etc was so much easier to see at a glance, also the filters were alot easier to access. The new layout just seems too spread out.

Make ScreenConnect available for Mac in Connect drop-down
For Mac computers, only Splashtop and AnyDesk show up in the drop-down...please add ScreenConnect as an option as well.

Assign a contact to multiple agents and/or assign multiple contacts to an agent. Preferably the latter of course (n:n). It's very common for a customer to use/own multiple devices or a device being used by multiple users.

Show applied patches on each device
When patches are applied via Atera, they do not show up on the server itself.
It would be great to see them there as well and sometimes it irritates some customer

During patching set devices into maintenance mode or similar in order that not all alerts are showing up all the time and filling up the ticket system

Override threshold profile for device
e.g. a device has an additional service I want to monitor and to not create a new threshold profile, it would be easier and faster to override the current threshold profile with an additional service.
In our environment there are lots of different servers with different services to monitor and it takes a very long time to set up all threshold profiles for all different kinds of servers.24 votes -

Need the ability to have non-technical staff in Atera's Admin section for billing and account (customer) setup. These back-office people have zero need nor should they have access to RMM capabilities.

Automate chat onboarding
Client would like an easy onboarding for the chat feature. When they push the agent there is an automated process but if they wish to push the cat, they need to manually do it through an e-mail. Instead, they want to automate it.

Permission Levels
Provide more permission to users.

Workstation/Server Specification
At the moment Atera will install the agent but assign this to the customer in an “Unassigned” state. We then have to update this manually in to folders. Atera should be able to decide whether the device is a workstation or a server, that way it can automatically go in to the correct patching/IT automation profiles.
