  1. Being able to create a new contact from the assets flow so if I started to work on an asset and then realize I don't have a contact, I don't have to go out of the flow.

  2. Please add on the new feature update a possibility to change the system date format to have other format as default. We are exporting timesheet and the date format are set to US which does not work for us as we are in Australia. This is a must setting that you should be looking to implement.

  3. Update the Custom portal URL section (https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/211833798#CustomerPortalURL) , with the following:
    That HTTPs, doesn't work using this method.
    That a user can use a fowarder, i.e. helpdesk.xxx.com -> helpdesk.company.atera.com.

    If a forwarder is used, at least they can still point towards their domain, which forwards to Atera page etc.

  4. To link Atera to some of our project management and knowledge base platforms. A lot of information is stored and updated on those platforms and it will be great to pull it into Atera to the device page, customer page, and even the main dashboard. It can be different note platforms like - Evernote, Jira conference, notion, or even Monday.com.

  5. It would be nice if the Atera agent could discover and effectively manage hypervisors, as Hyper-V. That it detects the Hyper-V role installed, Virtual Machines running on each host, and show the statistics and status of all the VMs in almost real-time in the web console. Also, to be able to see the overall resource utilization like RAM, CPU, Disk, from the host side, so that we can confirm our virtualization host is going OK. Also later the ability to monitor and manage Hyper-V Clusters.

  6. For the fields you can set to DropDown with Dependencies - is there a way to nest those further instead of only having Values and Children?
    For example if we wanted:

    Value: Request Type = Computer
    Child Value:Hardware
    Sub Value -> Monitor
    Keyboard
    Mouse
    Etc.
    Child Value:Software
    Sub Value -> Adobe
    Sub Sub Value -> Reader DC
    Pro
    PhotoShop
    Etc.
    Sub Value -> Microsoft
    Sub Sub Value -> Outlook
    Word
    Excel
    PowerPoint
    Etc.

  7. When using the API to modify contacts, the email field is not editable. However, in the web interface, you can edit the field. This implies that it's not a data model restraint, but a restraint in the API.

    We currently have customers who move between domains periodically and we have to update their email addresses. We'd like to manage that through an API automation from an external operations system.

I'd like to see the ability to request tickets with more than just one status via API. for instance i can only look at open tickets or only look at pending tickets, I need to look at both open and pending at the same time. Also being able to choose the ticket types in the same api call would be ideal. i want to do one call to view all open/pending tickets with type Incident or type Change. I'd also like to see more items per page.

  14. Second time i post this, because it is unacceptable. Employers needs to have full Admin access because otherwise they cannot Add an KB Article.

    I would like to have the billing tab hidden for employers.
    When disabling the 'Full Admin Access' and Disabeling the 'Billing information'

    We have the following problems :

    Option to Edit the Knowledge base is greyed out. (why?)
    Option to add an new product in an 'Product and Expense' is not possible. (Action -> Product and Expenses -> Add -> + icon beside product)
    not possible to delete tickets (not realy an problem)

It would be nice if Atera had traditional message boards for community access that are Atera monitored and community assisted, it would provide much better support for people who want to bounce and idea or question off users in similar environments. Facebook is ??okay?? but I've been watching for over a week and haven't seen a single new posting. A community support mechanism should have regular interactions between the support personnel and product users. If Atera doesn't want to support their own forums, Spiceworks.com already has an Atera vendor page and millions of technology enthusiasts who love helping other people.…

  18. Ability to collect syslog data from client (or local) network devices for alerts and log reviews. Might be able to use the custom report tool to parse the data? Understand that it might require a local NUC to collect the data.
