  2. When using Kaseya, I was able to deploy a local user (with local admin settings or regular) to workstations as long as the agent was active. This could be extremely useful when a new machine is setup, etc. or if we need to gain access to the machine but don't have a local/domain login.

  4. Atera's API already lets me create and delete folders, we have a project coming up where we're going to have to move all of a client's PCs based on their names, and it would be much easier if we could use the atera API to automate it.
    This could also help our deployment process, if we could use an API call to put a new PC into it's required folder immediately.

  8. I want to be able to show my customers what machines have been replaced over the replacement cycle, so I do not want to delete retired machines from atera, I want to be able to mark them as retired and exclude them from everything except a retired assets report.

    The current system of hide devices not seen for X days is not the same thing, Just because a device has not been switched on for say 300 days, does not mean that I do not need to know of it's existence for the fixed assets register.

  9. Problem:
    Currently it is possible to use a graph to display the CPU usage and memory usage.
    I would like to also monitor the network traffic on the server to better understand how much data is going in and out. This can help to investigate on potential issues especially on server.

    Improvement:
    Make it possible to monitor the traffic on a specific agent and display it in an extra graph showing inbound/ outbound traffic per timeframe and in total (E.g. 150GB within the last 24 hours).

    Benefit:
    This will help to identify peak times on that server from network perspective…

  11. More visibility for when an agent is offline. For example, out of 35 devices are working fine, 5 devices that are not, and i have 0 visibility to see why, so i'm in a blind spot where the customer is telling me that it is online and trying to reach out to Atera AWS site but i have no visibility. Need better ways to view the logs and i can't troubleshoot.

  14. I'm using a trial now and the deal breacker is that I can't remote on users session on a terminal server. All customers run terminal servers and when they request support I have to be able to remote directly on their session including when they are not in front of the screen. I'm lookig to switch from another RMM platform that offer this feature and because you don't have it I will wait a littl longer. Hope to see it soon. There is lot's of customers using Remote desktop services and we need to be able to help them individually…

  15. It is possible to obtain information from the list of devices if one or more automated tasks encounter errors or were unable to execute during their scheduling due to the agent being offline. Additionally, it is feasible to check the status of all automated tasks by accessing the agent, which includes their successful executions with the most recent execution date, as well as any failures, etc. This feature has already been offered by N-able for some time. I believe this is crucial to enhance productivity, rather than just relying on generating reports.

  16. Implement a second service for updating and/or monitoring the health of "AteraAgent" service itself when the agent stopped or have a issue.

    Like Streamer Service of Splashtop that maintains the health of the main remote access service
    I know, I can use a simple script or task scheduler, but it's just an idea...

  17. I've had to reinstall Windows on several computers and it would be optimal if, instead of adding the device as a brand-new agent, there were an Atera install package that could be downloaded from a specific agent in the app so that the device would stay associated with the same info in Atera.
    For example, if I reinstall Windows on agent PC-100, I would like to be able to reinstall the Atera agent on PC-100 and not have two PC-100 devices in the Atera app.

  20. Could be great that the Atera agent scans the devices looking for known vulnerabilities, just as we do with some products, to then report all the items found and having a knowledge base with all the recommended fixes.

    For example, Atera would scan the registry for settings that are not in compliance with a template provided like "Windows Clients - enhanced security", and then will report for each found setting and will have a link for the knowledge base with more information on what should be configured. Templates could be provided by the Atera community, the Atera product engineers, and…
