View multiple screens on Splashtop at the same time.
Allow the Splashtop version with Atera to view multiple screens on at the same time.
Congratulations on helping shape Atera! The feature you requested is currently being considered for development. Please be patient as the process can take a while or even stall to make way for other features. We’ll update you once it’s been implemented and released!

It would be best to let Splashtop know you have no plans to release the multiple monitors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxw-jaz4p0u. The link from Splashtop is bragging Atera up. See, 1 minute 15 seconds, she calls it out, and that's four years ago. Dang it! you have to hate the internet. As it never forgets.
The real issue here is that now that you have "work from home" only to Splash top agent, which is a safer RMM solution over Anydesk, the feature deployment of Multiple monitors is even more needed. As techs, we really don't care, but as end users, who are slow to understand how to switch between screens, and is what creates the need critical.

The Splashtop provided via Atera is the RMM version. We use the Business version and once you have added the clients deployment code to the Splashtop Streamer, the 2 Splashtop versions merge giving you both options. This works really well for us.
Splashtop Business gives a really good backup way of connecting with all the extra features such as dual monitors. On an annual cost it is relatively inexpensive https://www.splashtop.com/products/business-access
What would really help is a way of inserting the deployment code to merge the 2 together without it needing to be done manually

Not a bad idea but been switching between screens so long, kinda got use to it.

Just use Anydesk. It's included and is more secure.

Currently, only one engineer can remote on the same device. It would be beneficial if multiple engineers could remote on the same device simultaneously.
This is supported by Splashtop but not through Atera.

please bring it. think the problem that 2 people can connect at the same time is also a version problem…

Splashtop for RMM has a more limited feature set compared to Splashtop For Business, it will likely not happen due to cost reasons.

You can already cycle through the monitors. and this is a request for Splashtop, not Atera.

Is there an update on this?

We have a lot of end user computers that have multiple monitors. It would be really nice to be able to view them all at once instead of having to switch between them.

This is really needed asap!

I would love this feature.

Why does the Splashtop Agent not support multiple monitors. The Splashtop client directly from the vendor does. Multiple monitors is a very common user configuration. This agent should support it.

Multi-monitor support is critical for us (like Splashtop Business). We will be losing a client due to this feature being missing from Atera. We transitioned them away from Splashtop direct and will likely have to transition them back now.

Being able to select the monitor vs toggling through them would be helpful.

My work uses a mix of HID and Yubikey smartcards and USB device passthrough would be mandatory in order to passthrough the smartcards to the corporate devices. The multimonitor support would be a bonus for a lot of people also. Atera uses a custom license for Splashtop, you could add it as an additional payed addon to the base lisence.

This is very frustrating! Please add this. Remote PC does this.

Many of our office based clients "discovered" the benefits of multiple screens on their desks and were successfully using MS Remote Desktop when remoting in during the pandemic. For security reasons we've been forcing them to use Splashtop and they are very unhappy they can't view multiple screens simultaneously with Atera/Splashtop. I enquired, but as others have mentioned Business Splashtop won't integrate with Atera..... yet!
