Offline Software Inventory
For some strange reason software inventory only works when a machine is online, yet the information is already in your database but you cannot report on an individual offline asset.
If a machine breaks and is replaced by another asset, we need to know what software was installed on the machine before it broke.

Yes, very useful. There seems to be very little information available when a system is off line. The patch information is gone as well. It would be useful to have that information available, even though the system is down.

I think I still can get that info from the reports. But yes, it will be great to have that feature directly from the machine even if its offline.

Good, this would have saved my team a load of grief today with a customer who couldn't remember what he had installed until he tried to use it...
Even better for a one button software installer script generator to ease re-install of software.

I agree with this. If a machine breaks and is replaced by another asset, we need to know what software was installed on the machine before it broke.

No, it was not released.
Thank you for making patch information available for offline machines.
But the request is:
Can we see all the installed software on a machine when it is offline?
This is a critical piece of information that should always be available. -

Product Team, i think that isnt the option that the users want, (We want the option of software Inventory)
to view the software installed in the agent in case of OS Reinstall...

I agree with this. There have been several instances where having this information while the endpoint is off would have been really nice.

We would love to see the Software Inventory feature to become more robust. This would be a vital point, as often machines are not online when we want to check up on them.
