Supporting a private custom software repository
Chocolatey and Homebrew have over 5000 apps, and pushing in new apps is also easy.
However, we heard that some of you would like their own software package repository and install software only from there.
Tell us what you think

Hey!
I'm from Atera team and I'm glad to share that we started working on this idea you voted for.
I would be happy to meet for a few minutes so I could learn what will make your job easier with this feature.
Thank you, you can book here:

This would be a great feature! Setting agent/groups for default software installs would save admins a great deal of time.

Rollout of custom software is a MUST-HAVE for any RMM. So many RMMs already have this feature.
Sadly, there is still no ETA or information that it is in deployment

Many MSP's have unique application installers per customer, where sharing to a public repository is not a great idea, however, having a personal and dedicated repository option would be fantastic.

I think this would be a great option.

I don't know any customer who doesn't use at least some individual software, so its a needed feature

That feature exists in pretty much every MDM out there.
I can't believe that in 2022 we are still in the stage of consideration instead of implementation. -

This is a much needed requirement. This is standard in quite a few of Atera's competitors using AWS as their repository. Allows for MSP's to upload and create customised packages or a one off install of custom software/applications that are pertinent to clients. (eg not main stream). Would love to see this very soon.

This is a pretty essential requirement. The lack of it is probably the one major thing that's making me hesitate on going with Atera.
Especially as it seems that despite integrating Bitdefender you cannot deploy it from within Atera itself... -

For those of doing DesktopOps/RMM as a side job, Chocolatey is not easy or we don't have time. It would be good to be able to deploy software one-off, similar to Webroot process.

being able to create a personal repository would help with deploying proprietary software that's not listed on Chocolatey when adding new machines to the customers domain.
