  2. Work from home forgot password option. We dont give access to the atera portal and we need to set the password and let them know what it is and they cant change it. There should be a forgot password option on the work from home login page.

  3. Either via a Report, or some other click-able item, one should be easily able to find "what devices" are enabled for Work from Home. Since we have to charge our customers, and our customers use the service, it would be nice to have an easy way to see what and who is enabled for the service and should be paying for it.

  4. When using a vpn as soon as you remote onto your PC it locks the PC screen you are VPN onto, this is great for security for employees who work in a sensitive environment. I moved over to Atera home remote working instead and it leaves the screen visible for anyone to see. Even if say the user turned there screen off because they are not in the office anyone could still switch it on and watch what the user was doing. This in my eyes is a major security breach so others please be aware. Thanks

  5. Wake on Lan for Work From Home.

In order to operate climate protection, it would be good if the work-from-home PCs did not have to be switched on, but could be started via wake on lan.

  7. Currently, I was informed that the only way that a Technician can support Atera's "Work from Home" feature is to elevate them to be Admins. This will also give them access to billing information the way we have our roles set. The "Desktop Remote Management" and "Server Remote Management" roles should allow technicians to be able to support the Work From Home feature without granting them access to Full Admin rights, but currently it does not work that way.

Nice! The feature you requested is being reviewed by our product team. We’ll keep an eye on the number of votes, and let you know if a decision is reached to implement. Thank you for being a partner in our process!

  8. When a user is given work from home access IT needs to send them this incredibly long URL in order to access their PC. The real idea of work from home is that a user can access their computer from anywhere. If they are on a shared computer it is easy to remember https://app.atera.com/WFH. Users should be allowed to log into this shorter URL and then should be presented with the computer or computers that they can access. OR if they only have one computer it should take them directly from the login page to their computer.

  10. Once you purchase the work from home subscription, it would be nice that the page shows devices that are enabled instead of it just showing the default information of activated and the price. To me it is a wasted page that can be utilized.

  13. I have a client that is a CPA (example). He often refers clients to me but he also needs access to a computer to do payroll or other bookkeeping tasks. I need to give him and/or his accountants access to computers (as well as getting access to their own office computers).

There needs to be a way for CLIENT A (and his employees) to have access to computer(s) for CLIENT B and/or CLIENT C.

  14. Splashtop supports work from home that allows users to connect to a server. Can we please add that functionality from Atera since it utilizes that product? Right now I have to add a Splashtop work from home license manually outside of Atera.

  15. For the customer that uses WFH, if the computer is offline, it doesn’t tell him that it is turned off. It would be nice to show the user the status and also being able to connect it (wake on lan)

  16. Some of my customers are using WFH to connect to their computers. They have to validate by entering a code received by sms on a mobile. When several users have to use WFH, it's difficult to use the code because the mobile phone is not present. It would be eaiser if the code could be sent to an email address instead of a phone nr. Thanks for your attention.

  17. I have a client using a couple of "Work From Home" licenses. They are asking me if there is a report that I can provide to them of access records. They're looking for two things: 1) login records showing when a user logged in and 2) the length of time a user stayed connected in a remote connection. This would help them confirm an employee's claims to hours. While I know we cannot confirm that they're actually DOING work, this would at least help prove whether or not they're connecting and staying connected remotely.

  18. I am a manager in a team of 5. Myself and one other are dedicated to maintaining the hardware and endpoint software on our network. We both have Atera licences and work onsite.

I also have 3 team members who develop inhouse software applications for use by our clinical colleagues. All three of these team members now work from home permanently. There have been many occasions where it would have been useful for these three colleagues to have the ability to remote control users machines who are onsite for support and training purposes, particularly recently.

    As manager for both sides…

  19. Please have a look at https://www.twilio.com/docs/verify/api and see if you can integrate so OTP can go over Verify instead of SMS. No OTP SMS is working for the china users at the moment. With an APP they would be able to use Work from Home. At present it's very painful not be able to use Work from Home in China because of the SMS problem
