Agent page - Show Reboot Required
Would be great to see if the device is in need of a reboot on the agent page, to the right of "Online"
I mocked up a pic but I guess I cannot attach images..

Automatically send an email when computer is added to account by agent installation
Automatically send an email when a computer is added to account by agent installation. Ideally, the default behavior would be configurable by the admin for all customers, but each customer could override the default behavior and even choose which email(s) to send the email to.
This will trigger in-house procedures to finish onboarding new customers once they are in Atera.

Linux - Monitor Inode Usage
Storage and inode usage can differ so it must be tracked. High inode usage could result in services crashing or freezing.

Automatically Enable 'Availability Monitoring' for newly installed agents
Enable Availability Monitoring on newly installed agents since workstations need to be manually enabled. This would make it easier to have agents be monitored when adding new ones so they are not forgotten

Allow agent to be installed silently via Intune
Pretty straightforward. Allow the Atera agent to be installed silently via Intune, like it could previously. The agent can be installed silently via GPO on a domain, and Intune / Azure AD is just the next iteration of that.

Online device
Online device: Activity in metrics before the device is online – there is still an unnecessary delay of up to 3 minutes before atera marks a machine as “online” even though you can see from the metrics screen that it knew it was alive 3 minutes prior to that and capturing data – so why can it not mark the machine as online straight away – this leaves the caller wating on the phone line for a further 3 minutes before after the machine has been turned on/rebooted/joined to the wifi/ before we can remote control their machine using splashtop.…

VPN
I would like to see an option to create an Ad-hoc VPN from a remote user with Atera Agent installed back to the office network with agents installed. This would be helpful to push out certain Group Policy updates and also allow software deployment from the corporate repository and Password management and sync for remote / office users.

Event Monitoring Improvement (v2)
I posted a year ago about some improvements to the Windows event monitoring that is available when setting up a threshold in Atera
(https://atera.uservoice.com/forums/936306-ideas-and-feedback/suggestions/44256255-event-monitoring-improvement).But there are more issues with it that should be addressed...
When creating/modifying a threshold in Atera to monitor Windows Events, there are 5 options. Selecting "Events Applications", "Events Security", "Events Setup", and "Events System" is mostly useless because the only filter is to exclude specific events. It would be far more useful if we could opt to instead only include specific events so it isn't so noisy.
The fifth option is "Events by…

Device Events
I would like to see device events as detected by Atera for individual endpoints. I recently had a client rename an endpoint which caused some duplicate entries in some of the other platforms I use. Atera kept working just fine, but it would be really nice to see a history of events like this so I can see what happened and when.
There are several other use cases where this would be really helpful too:
1.) Script executions
2.) User account creation
3.) User logon/logoff events
4.) Critical/Error event log entries
5.) Shutdown/Startup events
6.) Windows Updates (client native, Atera…4 votes -
Stop repeated restarts of the AteraAgent Service
Looking at the event log, I can see the AteraAgent service restarts every minute or so. This floods the windows event log with useless noise.
Is it really necessary for the service to restart so frequently when there have been no configuration changes. If there are configuration changes, it should not be necessary for the service to restart. The only time that should be necessary is when the agent image itself has changed (like an upgrade).

Description
A service was installed in the system.Service Name: WinRing012_0

Service Type: kernel mode driver
Service Start Type: demand start
Service Account:This event occurs every 30 seconds, minute or so. It really clutters up the System Event Log. Makes it very difficult when attempting to track down an issue using the System Event Log.

MAC address interface association
Could you include a descriptor with the MAC address in the agent? For devices with multiple interfaces, I cannot tell which address is associated with which interface.
