  1. It took myself and support (even including escalations) far too long to figure out that if an SNMP device has device availability turned off, it will not trigger alerts at all even if the monitored OID rules have been met.

    The monitored OIDs should always be functional and alerts generated, even if device availability monitoring is turned off. For instance, I do not need an alert when someone turns the printer off, but I do need an alert if it is low on toner.

  2. when calling https://app.atera.com/api/v3/agents?itemsInPage=50 it would be nice to have custom values attached to the agent returned in the agent json.

    currently i have to loop agents to collect custome values causing more api calls and over heads for a simple dashboard.

  5. Use AI to auto assign a device to a contact based on the usage. I think auto-assign might be bit aggressive at time, but it will be good if there is a landing page which will show tentative contact for each device and Admin can just use confirm all to assign devices to contacts.

    Devices are rotated during onboarding or office shuffle. Its pointless to manually change when Atera can use user login info to determine the user for the device.

  6. Have a way to customize parameters for Agent deployment. With Splashtop company's package deployment, you can customize many things when building the deployment package. But when using Atera to so the same, it builds a basic package and you cannot customize anything about it. Specifically we are looking to deploy the Atera agent but have the Splashtop settings for Enable Direct Connection be turned OFF, instead of the default of ON... Any help with this would be appreciated.

  7. Need Accesst to Registry Current User. Can you enable this in a future release. Currently that Tree and subtree is not available in your agent. Every other key is. Very surpised that it is not available as every other RMM I have used we can get to it.

  8. The notifications feature should be on Top of Priority, as many times we are working on other apps, and we didn't get notifications on desktop of browser as banner or sound nothing. Until we're back to the dashboard the request often goes away from customer side.

    Also, there should be option of setting different notifications for different sites, but on the first priority is the notification banner or sound at least, without that there's too much difficulty to resolve problems within the required timeframe.

  9. When assigning an agent to a contact, it would be nice to be able to start typing the agent in to help find it. It would stop the endless scrolling of all the scattered agents allocated to a company.

  10. Mac OS free diskspace is sometimes reported incorrectly because some machines use a large amount of "purgeable" data. The terminal-based disk usage utility does not account for this type of data and simply may assume the disk is almost full, when in reality Mac OS does not report it that way since it will delete this purgeable data as soon as space is needed by the OS.

    Atera Agent should be able to differentiate this data type to more accurately report available disk space.

  12. It would be nice to be able to have at least a second connection to an agent when troubleshooting an issue incase you have to bring a second tech into the problem. Currently, if we try to connect a second tech to a session, it just gives us a message stating that a connection is already made to that agent. Agent status would be nice to to see that someone is connected to it and who is connected to it too.

  14. Since it is possible to install linux based agents on linux devices please allow for the linux agent to also serve as a monitoring agent for SNMP, TCP and Generic devices.

  16. Agent should be generic name or allow branding

    White Label branding is in nearly all competitors products to allow branding! Atera should also allow customizing and branding or generically displaying the install program name and folder name, as well as in the Apps and Add Remove Program Files.

    Instead of “Atera” under Program Files or Program Files (x86), or the Apps and Add Remove Program files use something like "ITSupportAgent" or “CompanyNameSupport” Customers see the Atera program and do not know it and uninstall it. If it was the IT department or service providers name they would recognize it.

  17. How often does the web UI and agent communicate?

    Admittedly it's my own fault, but I often find myself working on an agent, shutting it down, and then forgetting that I still need it (or if I'm testing the Wake on LAN functionality before installing a PC). Sometimes I find myself waiting for up to 30 minutes before the web UI reports the device as offline, and so I can't use the Wake on LAN function as the web UI thinks the device is still online.

    Could we either…

    A) Increase the frequency the agent and web UI communicate/check-in

    B)…

  18. When losing a client there should be a way to delete EVERYTHING; Atera agent, Splashtop, AnyDesk, and any apps purchased through Atera, This should work for any unit online and for any off-line unit when it comes back online, without disturbing the client's users.

  20. Instead of just showing whether an agent is online/offline, should also indicate status of user, Kaseya has this feature.

    If agent is online:
    - user is logged in and active (actively working)
    - user is logged in and inactive (idle)
    - user is not logged in
