MDM is a very valuable part of what we do. But, this would depend on the level of management. It would be VERY nice to have the abilities that are similar to Kandji.

MDM is critical! It is so for both iOS and Android as both are extremely prevalent in modern BYOD work environments. The following are essential:
- the ability to lock a device remotely from the atera control panel
- the ability to wipe a device remotely from the atera control panel removing and protecting all user and company data -

Hi Atera this function would literally take your RMM software to new heights given the high demand and amazing support I have been receiving. With that being said, these are my ideas when considering the MDM software.
IOS or Android, which one is more popular?
-By adding this feature to Atera, I believe it would serve as great tool as we
constantly assigning operators with IOS/Android devices to help aid in the
productivity of our staff members. So, with that being said, It would a 50/50 split as not all users are on Android and vice versa with IOSWhat are current MDM solutions you are using and why/why not use it?
-Currently I am not using any MDM tool other than the default tools availble with Chrome and IOS - Icloud, as I would like a centralised experience
with Atera to control all IOT devices. What are the most important features for Atera to develop?
- Kiosk functions
-Remote manage and block downloads of harmful applications
-Tracking function
-Screen time usage function
-Remote lock, wipe and block access
-Device utilizations space, ram, temperature
-One function that has been crucial when remote accessing our machines would be AWOL fuction(Awake on lan). If this function could be adapted into the MDM software it would work miracles. (to share a signal pulse to the device and to have it respond to its last known location and status of device "if switched off" . -

Remote splashtop type access for Android and IOS would be very useful! Ability to monitor device health and status and to install apps, reset access and other basic management tasks would be extremely helpful. (Across clients we have more android than ios but both are important)

I think across our clients we have a fairly even mixing as iPads are pretty popular for delivery truck tablets but have a lot of Android phones. Having this capability would definitely help push some of our clients to having work cell phones instead of letting people use their personal devices for convenience, which can be a security risk.

It would be nice if it supports Chrome OS, we are looking for a solution able to control Chrmoebooks and Chromeboxes

I currently use IBM’s MaaS360 to manage Android devices installed in vehicles. Features must include remote control/wipe, kiosk mode, and location.

It would also be very useful for monitoring and programming Android stock handhelds

Need to support both IOS and Android, ability to have parts & OS infos like on computers. Possibility to launch updates, restart phone. Remote lock and localisation would be a big plus.

for us it is fundamental as we would like to check all the Android pcPOS we have from our food and retail customers

Currently we are Using jamf for management of IOS Devices and Relution to manage mixed environments with IOS and Android. We have much customers in school environments, so security services and german legal data protection is crusial for us.

Must have, and the ability to change mobile device settings and block apps/websites for company owned devices.

YES, I don't want to have another RMM software to manage just the mobile devices. This is a definite need.

I just need to locate, block and wipe devices :)
