  1. add a field on script (and script library) where instructions and other notes could be added. this would be good to have as employees leave or new ones are brought on and they need to know why that script exists.

  4. Sometimes we do not wish to push out Office updates at the same time as Windows updates. It would handy to have a checkbox that allows you to either enable or disable ALL Office updates from an automation policy.

  7. Currently when software is installed via Chocolatey, there are no logs or records available from within the Atera Web UI

    If a software package install fails for example, we get an alert saying that something failed and to check the device log files, but in order to do that, we either need to remote on or use a remote command prompt / powershell prompt

    There should be an integrated way to view the log files from the Atera interface without having to go looking through the PC.

  9. After installing Webroot on a customer's PC, I uninstalled her old AV. This caused her PC to reboot in the middle of business meeting she was having. There needs to be a way to schedule the installation of of software to only occur during specific hours

  10. Example: When viewing the devices list, it shows a device has 10 patches pending. When clicking on it, it reveals they are all optional driver updates under Windows. I think the patching should allow you to specify which update types are important to know about, and possibly based on the current patching profile it has setup on that device.

  11. Dear Sir or Madam,

    For the above mentioned feature we would like to be able to edit the configuration of the failed login attempts.

    From how many failed login attempts in which time period should a message be issued.

    The extension of this feature would help us a lot to use the monitoring with Atera as the only monitoring software.

  14. IT Automation Profile: Apply it to and create a scope where you can click all of these customers where OS = 2012. And then it will apply the changes to any that have that. Criteria. Any servers that will be added in it will automatically go on it. It will automate the automation.

  17. Please allow us to set a specific email template when selecting the "Send ticket reply to contacts by email" feature.

    This is a great tool and all, but there is absolutely no way to edit the automated email the customer receives when one of our technicians replies to their ticket.

    The first instinct of the customer is to reply to the email sent, when they reply to the email, it just sends it t our tech's Outlook email address. Then the ticket conversation is in multiple locations.

  18. Reporting Criteria.........When doing patches, if you exclude patches, they still show up in the reportings as overdue/missing. Example: I do not patch automagically say HARDWARE updates. When you do a patch report, it looks horrible because it showing as MISSING, which it IS, but INTENTIONALLY. There needs to be a way to filter out for reporting purposes to see truly "what is missing".

While it is great we can select specific patch management automation profiles from Customer > Folders > Action > IT Automation Profile, it would be great to select the folder at time of creating the patch management profile, click Apply To, click on Folders tab then select Customer, then click on the Customer's respective checkbox of folders available to apply it to.
