  3. Install the agent on a PC by browsing to a simple webpage on the target PC (i.e. atera.com/add) which displays a unique QR code, scanning the QR code from mobile app, and assigning the PC to a customer/folder from the app on my phone. PC is then offered the appropriate download to install the agent.

    Provide an alternative, by providing a short alpha-numeric code with the QR code on the screen that we can type into the App or web interface instead of scanning the QR code. This could also help with connecting a remote asset with the help of…

  4. Use AI to auto assign a device to a contact based on the usage. I think auto-assign might be bit aggressive at time, but it will be good if there is a landing page which will show tentative contact for each device and Admin can just use confirm all to assign devices to contacts.

    Devices are rotated during onboarding or office shuffle. Its pointless to manually change when Atera can use user login info to determine the user for the device.

  5. Atera's API already lets me create and delete folders, we have a project coming up where we're going to have to move all of a client's PCs based on their names, and it would be much easier if we could use the atera API to automate it.
    This could also help our deployment process, if we could use an API call to put a new PC into it's required folder immediately.

  6. It would be nice to be able to push the Atera agent install using Active Directory group policies. For instance you could target and Active Directry group, like production and push the agent out to all of the devices in the group.

  8. Dear Support,

    There should be bulk import of Custom Field for Agent using .CSV or .xslx formats.
    Currently we are able add custom field option for the agent but we have to manually enter the data. Since we have more than 1500 agents, the bulk import for custom field will be helpful.

  10. It would be really useful to have the custom agent version available as a download link in the customer portal for self install. Here's how it would work -

    1. We setup the customer and add their users
    2. The user can then login to the customer portal
    3. On the first page they land on there should be links to the custom agent install for Windows & Mac based on the company they are in within Atera.

  12. Currently you can open the portal, go to agent, click Edit, and change the name of the "Agent" for an endpoint.

    Please allow the AgentName to be updated via API as well. Same permission and process just programmatically.

  13. Currently it does not show if another technician is logged into a device via Active AnyDesk Session. It would be awesome if the UI could have an indicator like AnyDesk icon changing colors if a technician is already remotely connected to a device.

  14. Delete Agents / Machines which haven't reported back to Atera for a specific amount of time.

    For example, if a machine doesn't dial into Atera for 5 months, it will be deleted from Atera automatically.

    It would be ideal to have it a system wide setting, client setting, or folder setting.

  15. 1 hour is far too out of date for hard disk usage info, the alerts update quickly, so the information on the agent page should do so too! Out of date information is of no use to anyone.

  16. When making a change on a device, we have to wait for Atera to realise there has been a change. Please give us the option to use a refresh button such as "Get Agent Metrics now" or something similar in order to essentially force Atera to get the most up to date information it can.

  18. When using Kaseya, I was able to deploy a local user (with local admin settings or regular) to workstations as long as the agent was active. This could be extremely useful when a new machine is setup, etc. or if we need to gain access to the machine but don't have a local/domain login.

  19. Implement a second service for updating and/or monitoring the health of "AteraAgent" service itself when the agent stopped or have a issue.

    Like Streamer Service of Splashtop that maintains the health of the main remote access service
    I know, I can use a simple script or task scheduler, but it's just an idea...

  20. I would like to be able to push out a client specific MacOS Atera Agent through an MDM such as Intune. Either through a script or a client specific Atera Agent. We could then push the .pkg through Intune. Right now, it's just a generic .pkg installer and the terminal command option does't appear to work as a script.
