Traffic monitor
Problem:
Currently it is possible to use a graph to display the CPU usage and memory usage.
I would like to also monitor the network traffic on the server to better understand how much data is going in and out. This can help to investigate on potential issues especially on server.Improvement:
Make it possible to monitor the traffic on a specific agent and display it in an extra graph showing inbound/ outbound traffic per timeframe and in total (E.g. 150GB within the last 24 hours).Benefit:

Print agent software inventory
We would like the ability to print the Software Inventory for one device individually.
This would save hours when onsite to replace a workstation to have a paper sheet to reference rather than dig through currently installed programs.
Current reports allow me to print all software installed for a client, but not selective to an individual workstation.

Mac M1 compatibilty
Can the agent be updated for the M1 chip Macs? The current agent requires the use of Rosetta 2. This is fine in the short term, but the M1 has been available since November 2020

Patch history
The patch history of devices shows some updates which are applied but not all. Support told me that getting updates over WUA API only shows updates which are still on the update servers.
Problem now is that you cannot be sure which updates are applied to the servers because the updates suddenly disappear from the history. So you have no overview which patches are applied.

System Configuration change notification
Being able to easily identify if the client has made any changes to their device. Some form of delta change notification if system changes are made. For example, if a user swaps out the monitor, changes keyboard, or installs some major application (assuming they have local admin permissions). At this point, the dashboard and device details show current state, but this is basically "as is" review of what the agent sees rather than if there was a change to the system from the previous time the agent checked in.

Compare serial number of agent in order to hunt down the same agent appearing multiple times in atera
Have atera compare serial number on device in order to make it easier to hunt down the same agent appearing twice or more because of reinstall of client.
It would be nice with joint report that shows clearly what machines and to what customer they are connected. And also a auto cleanup cross all customers and for a single customer.

faster online
It frequently takes forever for an agent to come online. Sometimes even longer for Remote access to be available. This may be a Splashtop-only issue.
Can a system Tray Icon be implemented with some basic functionality like Request Remote Assistance? Repair Atera Agent. Configure Splashtop and Anydesk audio settings during remote sessions
Add the option to disable audio from remote computer during remote sessions. In splashtop and anydesk.

GPU metrics
Please consider adding GPU Usage % to the Agent Metrics (to show along with CPU and Memory %)
We have a lot of architectual, media and engineering clients where GPU usage is an important metric to monitor and log.

Availability Monitoring
Availability Monitoring - Control how often we receive alerts for a device that is offline. I can get an email alert almost every hour to let me know a device is still unavailable. After a weekend I can have up to 50 emails for a single device! If there are multiple servers offline then this is too much. We are having to turn off this feature at the moment because we just get spammed.

Install over Intune
You currently describe how to install by GPO. However GPO is old school and a lot of people are moving cloud only. How about providing instructions to install with current MDM platforms that people are using like Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager), Jumpcloud, JAMF etc.

Reboot in Safe Mode with Networking
There have been many instances where I need to reliably reboot a Windows endpoint into Safe Mode with Networking so that I can run scripts and/or remotely connect to it.
I have a script that will do this now, but it would be excellent if Atera could build this into the agent so it isn't a guessing game. Rebooting into Safe Mode remotely can break my access if something goes wrong, and since 95% of what I do is entirely remote, having a reliable way to do this is really important.

SNMP Polling Interval
We currently do not have the ability to view or set the SNMP polling interval when monitoring them via agents.
It would be very useful to be able to view and/or set the SNMP polling interval so we can customise the monitoring to suit our needs.

chat
Bind Chat to Agent, NOT the User
MANY of our clients have users that do not have a company email. This makes it impossible to chat with them. We need the ability to chat with whoever is sitting at the machine instead of attempting to target the user specifically. Then perhaps allow the ability to assign it to a user or ticket.
This brings up the fact that we should be able to assign an agent to any ticket we want without it being bound to the user.
