  1. Bind Chat to Agent, NOT the User

    MANY of our clients have users that do not have a company email. This makes it impossible to chat with them. We need the ability to chat with whoever is sitting at the machine instead of attempting to target the user specifically. Then perhaps allow the ability to assign it to a user or ticket.

    This brings up the fact that we should be able to assign an agent to any ticket we want without it being bound to the user.

  2. Please break out the apple model. listing of just imac really doesn't do anything. Have it show the detailed info like iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010).

  4. Add ability to add multiple threshold profiles onto device

    e.g. one for device monitoring (disk space, cpu usage) and add another for monitored events or services

  5. Install agent on Synology, QNAP or Raspberry Pi. As we move to more cloud and Saas based offerings, the days when people had dedicated servers in the office is going away. As such I would like to be able to install the agent on another type of device like a NAS.

  6. Say you want to store the result of a script in to a custom filed of the agent. FOr example get the bitlocker recovery key (strange btw Atera does not gather this by design) and store the key in a custom field like

    {[Atera.Agent.BitlockCustomFIeld]} = (Get-BitLockerVolume -MountPoint C).KeyProtector.RecoveryPassword

  7. Other RMM/PSA's have the ability to 'remote desktop' in to the machine via a loopback from its remote control app, AND logs in with stored admin credentials. This let's technicians login as admin without needing to know the admin creds.

    The same Atera competitor even cycles the admin password automaticly after x time, Making credential security even higher

  10. Hello, could you consider the idea to improve deployment of scripts, maybe permitting to choose more than one script at one time? Could be useful selecting more scripts and let them run one after another just like the install in the Software Bundles.

  11. Have an option that can be selected to notify the technician when an agent is online. This would be handy for laptop users who have requested help but are in-between offices where WOL isn't an option but you would like to know when they do come back online.

    Currently I temporarily monitor the device then remove the monitoring once I have completed the work.

  12. Looks like there's no way to select multiple agents while in Folder View. The check box to the left of the agent is missing..
    I.E. if I want to move recently agents from the "Uncategorized" folder to a "Specific Folder" I need to access the agent one by one and change the Agent Relationship or go to All Devices, identify the agents in question and multi-select them to that I can apply the Relationship to all of them at the same time.

  13. Moving Agents between customers is very time consuming. It would make life a lot easier if we could configure CustomerID field on Agents via API. That would make it possible for us to push scripts to devices that would update Atera in case device ownership changes.

  15. Could you include a descriptor with the MAC address in the agent? For devices with multiple interfaces, I cannot tell which address is associated with which interface.

  16. We have a few users that are disabling or uninstalling Atera and Splashtop services.
    Do you have a script that will prevent them from doing this?
    Or at least password protection to prevent disable or uninstall.

  17. It would be nice to be able set splashtop settings in atera UI. Like if users are asked for permission when technician connects etc. Currently it's done by script. Why not checkbox under customer or device view. Also nice would be if those seen in device agent view

  18. I have issues with 3 out of 10 units having issues with enrollment requiring a registry wipe and service restart on those devices.

    I'd like to automate this by being able to either check the ATERA directly or by caching this on my own hosted service as a proxy.

    Unfortunately, the AgentId found on the device is hashed and therefore I cannot test it against the Agent API to check if it has indeed reported in.

  19. I would like to be able to ensure that the Atera Agent has all the access that it requires to aspects of the macOS via an MDM but this needs a bundle ID which requires the agent to be signed.

    I'm quite surprised that the agent isn't already signed to be honest.

  20. Currently, the Apple Mac agent is not uninstalled, when a device is deleted in Atera.
    Deleted devices keep popping up as new devices.
    This is a no-go, especially when a service contract ends. There has to be a simple solution for uninstalling Mac agents automatically .
