Ability to run automations based on various agent fields, for example Vendor or a custom fields.
I have various automations that I only want to apply to a specific vendor regardless of customer, or based on a specific custom field value. Currently we can only run automations on a customer at a customer level. We have achieved this in other RMM tools so would be good to see here too.

Group IT Automation profiles & patching in folders or by customers
Set up folders to categorize and group your automation & patching. E.g.: group profiles by customer, or group them by type (patching, scripting etc.).

Patch management filter profile by device type
It would be really important to be able to filter devices by device type (eg. Servers, Workstations) when applying a Patch management profile. Now it simply impossible to create a profile that automatically(!) applies to different device types.

Create alert when agent is not able to connect to Windows Update Server
If the agent is not able to collect data from Windows Update to check the update status, or the agent is unable to download the updates (both due to network problems at the client, proxy settings as example), the agent will not see any new update, so the device is displayed as "up to date" in the dashboard.
Please set an alert, when the agent is not able to pull windows update information or the updates itself, and why (you may have an exception which you could forward to the alert).

Support Automation Profile on Unassigned
Would be convenient if we could assign automation profiles on the Unassigned folder for customers. It's just not doable to move every single new agent from Unassigned to a different folder just so you can differentiate between servers and PC's/laptops.

Add a feature that provides the same control as the Windows Update for Business 'Select the target feature update version' GPO option
Windows Update for Business 'Select the target feature update version' GPO option provides simple control of feature updates, will keep all systems at that feature update level so don't end up with a mixed environment.
It is also a way to stop Windows 11 from being proffererd to users, if it is set to a Windows 10 feature update version.1 vote -
Ignore Update
It would be really helpful to be able to hide/ignore certain updates on a per device basis and would actually work with the windows update on the device to also hide and ignore it..

Feature - Failed Login Attempts - Configuration
Dear Sir or Madam,
For the above mentioned feature we would like to be able to edit the configuration of the failed login attempts.
From how many failed login attempts in which time period should a message be issued.
The extension of this feature would help us a lot to use the monitoring with Atera as the only monitoring software.

Have offline agents check for pending automations when they check in
Currently if a device is offline during a scheduled automation, the automation won't attempt to run again until the same time the next day. It would be nice to have an option to have the automation run as soon as the device comes online.

List the patch install date in the patch feedback report
List patch install date in report so we know going into it few days later how many were installed on scheduled day and how many were installed in the following days.

I am looking up to block/exclude the win11 upgrade patch. Can atera please facilitate that option asap as the users are trying to upgrade the patch which later hampering the work.

allowing us to use a certain template when selecting "Send ticket reply to contacts by email"
Please allow us to set a specific email template when selecting the "Send ticket reply to contacts by email" feature.
This is a great tool and all, but there is absolutely no way to edit the automated email the customer receives when one of our technicians replies to their ticket.
The first instinct of the customer is to reply to the email sent, when they reply to the email, it just sends it t our tech's Outlook email address. Then the ticket conversation is in multiple locations.

Wingate Software Updates
Wingate instead of chocolatey/homebrew: it takes the updates from the editor right away so if there is an issue, it is coming directly from the editor and not someone who posted the update. Chocolatey does not verify the update. Wingate takes from Microsoft. So if they deploy the wrong version, it's Microsoft's fault. It is native with windows 11 and 21.h1 or 21.h2.
