process user logged
Allow for process monitoring only when a user is logged in.
Monitoring for a process like onedrive.exe will always fail if no user is logged on and then generate an unnecessary error alert.

Alert scheduling/automatic snoozing
Set an alert schedule for different customers/The ability to automatically snooze alerts for certain periods of time each day.
This has been a slight issue for us due to patch management causing high CPU and Memory usage alerts to be created so we get lots of alerts overnight.
It would be nice to be able to snooze these for particular customers but to be able to do it automatically or on a schedule.15 votes -
resolution
It would be very useful to be notified (e.g. an email) when an alert has been automatically resolved.
For example, if a server goes offline I get an email and if it comes back online I always get a resolution email2 votes -

Ignore certain event IDs
Ability to ignore a certain event ID or disable alerting on it. We have certain hardware that throws emergency event IDs but are informational only. These happen on reboot so we get a ton of alerts a day with an event that is of no concern. I would like to be able to flag it to be ignored or auto closed without email alert.

threshold alerts with the level we want and not just the level from event viewer
We can setup custom alerts for Event ID in thresholds. The problem is that when setting up the alert, the level has to match what is in the windows log. For example if we setup an alert for the Event ID 4672 for a user being granted admin rights. In the event viewer the level is "informational" so we have to setup the alert in the threshold as informational to match. It would be great if we could assign the Atera alert to Warning instead of informational. That would let us have that red flag warning that they may be…

Thresold
Hello,
I have some Event viewer Tresolds. Iám missing 2 thinks here:
- Overruling the message with a understanding on instead of a copy of the event.
- If its Information i wont get a email notice, maybe to overrule it so it will email within the thresold rule? (Like inserting a USB)

Change the durations to actual timestamps on Alerts
Atera currently shows time stamps for alerts like "3 hours ago" If I am trying to look through an event log on a device to find the cause of that alert I need to know the actual time that atera logged the issue, not some vague time 3 hours ago.

Offline
I only get notices when devices go offline, and I have to check the status only to find out they are back online. Is there a way to get a notice that the offline condition doesn't exist anymore?
To simplify it, Monitored Agent Goes Offline (state created). Devices comes back online (Online state active again, re-alert device is back on).
This would help me not have to urgently jump into Dashboard or App trying to figure out what happened only to see it was a user restart or ISP outage.

Have the ability to add an alert based on registry settings
When we onboard new systems, we typically want to make sure certain items have been configured (such as the Remote Desktop port changed from the default settings of 3389). It would be nice if we could create an alert based on a value in the registry. That way we could check if the default port has been changed after a new machine has been set up or if it is still using the default port. An alert would be triggered if it didn't match the particular value and a ticket could be created.
