  2. Looking at the event log, I can see the AteraAgent service restarts every minute or so. This floods the windows event log with useless noise.

    Is it really necessary for the service to restart so frequently when there have been no configuration changes. If there are configuration changes, it should not be necessary for the service to restart. The only time that should be necessary is when the agent image itself has changed (like an upgrade).

  4. Show hard drive active time in the metrics window. Helps to know that some process is using the disk drive at a high percentage and this might be slowing the computer for the end user.

  5. When running down the device list and doing manual reboots it would be really helpful having the Reboot Status known, if you manually already sent the Restart request (Clicked Restart) maybe the Reboot Needed can change to Restart Sent or something like that. Knowing if I already clicked restart on a specific machine is big!! Please Please Please!!! Thanks!!

  6. When generating a new agent installer, after selecting the OS and assigning the new agent to a customer, the third step is to download it. Clicking the "Download" button works fine if we want to download the agent installer to the local computer and put it on a flash drive or something. Only problem with that is that there have been many occassions when I need to send the installer via e-mail, and most e-mail services block this file for security purposes, as it is an .exe file.   7. Some end users are security conscious, and would like to be notified the entire time a tech is logged in, instead of the window that disappears 20 seconds after the connection starts. Ideally, the notification would stay visible the entire duration of the remote session. TeamViewer has this feature in the bottom right corner, showing who is connected, and their TV ID. Simple click of the arrow minimizes the connection notification, but is still visible to show that a connection is ongoing.

    Alternatively, a notice that the tech is no longer connected might make the end user more comfortable.

  8. Bind Chat to Agent, NOT the User

    MANY of our clients have users that do not have a company email. This makes it impossible to chat with them. We need the ability to chat with whoever is sitting at the machine instead of attempting to target the user specifically. Then perhaps allow the ability to assign it to a user or ticket.

    This brings up the fact that we should be able to assign an agent to any ticket we want without it being bound to the user.

  10. We have a customer how have som USB license disk.
    These USB Flash pin, does not have any free storage space at all, and the server gives us alarms.

    We could pause an alarm for X days, but the best solutions will be if we could skip disks from the monitoring, but still keep monitor the other disks.

  11. Choose retired on a customer level: certain customers have different life cycle and they don’t want to pay for devices that they don’t touch for 30 days and then others for 45. Right now, I’m going through the data and then filtering out

  12. I really like the agent metrics graph when opening an agent device. It would super helpful if the graph could also show network usage (per adapter - wifi vs wired) and hard drive space usage over time. If a device is suddenly showing a full drive, it would nice to see the usage history. Especially if it suddenly got full over the past couple days.

  14. It would be nice to get alerts (perhaps this could be made a threshold) when a device is offline for a configurable amount of time (hours, days, weeks etc.)
    This would be great to see if there are devices that are customers use infrequently or not at all.

  15. We would like the ability to print the Software Inventory for one device individually.

    This would save hours when onsite to replace a workstation to have a paper sheet to reference rather than dig through currently installed programs.

    Current reports allow me to print all software installed for a client, but not selective to an individual workstation.

  16. It would be great if you could define in the settings when the device should start on weekdays, then you could make the updates at this time, for example, and you could turn on the devices controlled for the customer schedule, which would help many customers.

  17. I personally thing Atera should have its own Remote Desktop software in addition to having the integration of other 3rd party solution such as teamviewer, splastop etc. for those who have them and wish to use them.

    However i think having 1 complete solution provides easier management and smother running of system especially when it come to updates (sometimes splash top crash's or cant connect to agent)

    In addition to this, i am limited to the features using 3rd party remote solutions provide thought Atera, which means i have to pay Atera and another Subscription cost for a full version…

  20. In current scenario we have available helpdesk agent software for windows machine in our atera account . now we want to install helpdesk agent software on mac machine but it's not available at this time for agent through communicate with our mac user. please implement agent software on atera.
