agent config and global agent control after install
I would love to globally set my installed agents to only play sound on the remote machine and not transfer to mine thus not interrupting a video or music when I'm just checking on useage for a classroom, and also to remove the splashtop printers since i don't use them. It would be great if this could be configured for new agent installs by default also. Thanks 👍

Agent Uninstall Not Removing Device From Portal
When Atera/Splashtop is uninstalled using Control Panel \ Programs and Features, it would be desired for the device to be removed from the portal too during the same process, without needing manual deletion or other commands run afterwards.
Sometimes the end user would remove the software themselves without our knowledge, especially when the device is a personal PC/laptop, which leaves the device behind on the portal in a permanently offline state.
I get that this can be done by not giving local admin but this often just not possible.Other RMMs we've used will do a device removal from the…

Script Error to Show if The Script is Incorrect
Have an error feedback when the script is incorrect. Right now, even if the script is not correct, Atera can still show that it went successfully because it did run it.
No mention of the script actually failing and returning an error!

More information from PC
More information from the PC's would be nice (e.g. take look at the amount of info that PDQ Inventory can grab from client devices without even requiring an agent installation).

Logged in user history
Hi there, It would great that historic data is retained for previous users who have logged in, this could be time restricted, ie the last 3 months of active users, but something to allow us to review previous users.

Chat Widget For Websites
I would like to see the ability to have a chat widget (similar to what you use for your support) but for us to add to our website to allow clients / customers to chat directly with us via Atera. Instead of having to use third party chat apps and then copy and create tickets manually.
This seems like something that should be fairly easily implemented and I believe that many users would love this feature!

Agent as a credentialed user for AD auth/network share access
It would be excellent to have the ability to config the agent user so it could be recognised and managed as an AD user or local/domain admin/user.
This would allow the use of more script functions like xcopy of network folder/file shares to the client for deployment and allow it be a more useful tool where you want all other local admin restricted. If we could config the client to be a local admin or a domain user with authentication,

agent config and global agent control after install

Have agent service notify management server that a shutdown is in progress
Assuming that heartbeats are sent both ways for machine availability, the server end is slow to recognize a computer is offline. This can make testing things like Wake on LAN very slow. If the client agent can somehow notify the server that a shutdown event was recorded and update the portal much sooner that would save a lot of time. Alternatively, decrease heartbeat interval times? Sometimes have to wait 5-10 minutes after shutting down a machine before the portal recognizes the device is offline.

Device Update with unique ID
Hello, could we imagine an update of the device part by unique id ? (example : mac address? If the mac address is already present, the agent retrieves the information from the previous device. This would allow it to preserve the history, limit the number of duplicates following a relocation or a name change. Thank you. (The removal function of agents not connected since X is difficult to use in my case, we have portable workstations that can stay outside for several months without returning to the office, I do not want to lose control of these workstations). Cordially

Workstation/Server Specification
At the moment Atera will install the agent but assign this to the customer in an “Unassigned” state. We then have to update this manually in to folders. Atera should be able to decide whether the device is a workstation or a server, that way it can automatically go in to the correct patching/IT automation profiles.
