  3. Password protect Atera Agent from being uninstalled. I have had several users uninstall the agent from their systems. Most do not recognize the software and remove it. Others are just nosy. And others see the new software added and remove it because they don't like control, "Big Brother" .

    I would like the option to place a check mark to turn on Password protection.

  4. Chocolatey and Homebrew have over 5000 apps, and pushing in new apps is also easy.
    However, we heard that some of you would like their own software package repository and install software only from there.

    I wanted to give you visibility into our product roadmap for Q3 as it relates to Atera Device Dashboard. You asked for improvements and this is what's planned:


    • We’re updating the device console to present additional insights including the BIOS version, battery life, and the BitLocker key


    • We’re enhancing visibility into the patch status, so you’ll know the exact status of each patch, and the reason for failure wherever relevant.


    Kee an eye out for our What's new emails to stay informed.

  6. The ability to custom reports more like a query builder, using field labels. This gives the ability to create a report as needed for OUR business model. Not canned ones. Although they are nice :) The ability to find all customers by tech assigned, or all customers with no tech assigned and their associated open tickets or the devices not online, etc. When you have 500 customers with 3- 30 devices each its challenging. . Currently we have to run a report that is TOO much ( all devices per customer) or not enough ( separate report per device) and…

  8. We are only able to place software which are in Chocolatey or HomeBrew in our software bundles.

    We would like to upload customized software to Atera to install on our client's computers via software bundle.

    I.e Whilst ticket is in 'Awaiting customer Response' status, after 24hrs send a reminder email to customer.

    I wanted to give you visibility into our Q3 roadmap as it relates to your feature request.

    This quarter time-based ticket automations will be added to allow various time-based actions such as resolving a ticket, automatically closing a ticket, or alerting an admin.

  10. This is a standard feature with other RMM's -

    ability to push 3rd party .MSI installation to endpoints. for example - push a VPN agent .msi installation package to group of endpoints or a specific end point.

  11. For some strange reason software inventory only works when a machine is online, yet the information is already in your database but you cannot report on an individual offline asset.

    If a machine breaks and is replaced by another asset, we need to know what software was installed on the machine before it broke.

  18. This needs an overhaul and the following additional features would be an improvement.

    Scheduled Device Scan for Updates

    After updates have completed If a user is logged in prompt to reboot every set period of time until reboot accepted.

    After Updates If a user is not logged in attempt to reboot to schedule based on local device time.

    Allow local admin credential injection in order to force updates through that require a device to not just be turned on but logged in to work.

    Approve or Reject updates and set priority for security and critical updates based on the CVE.

  19. The app constantly logs out and doesn't retain a login session.

    It would be great to not have to constantly login on the app (maybe couple with faceID for iPhones?)
