It would be great to be able to assign multiple devices a particular software or other automation by agent, not folder or site. Or, be able to assign multiple folders per device. Even better, would be able to assign by user from EntraID.

Software Bundle Deployment Very Slow
Software Deployment is incredibly slow, and lacks any meaningful feedback during and after the process completes. No matter how many softwares are included in the list, it seems to take nearly an hour to deploy. Meanwhile, when we use a script to deploy a series of Ninite packages, they are done in 20 minutes...
At this point we only install two things from our default software bundle, and it STILL TAKES FOREVER. We don't even know when it really finishes without pulling event logs.
The whole point behind automation is to do it faster than a person... right now the…

Ability to filter the run of IT automation and threshold profiles by agent details
If we create an IT automation or threshold profile that's only for Windows Servers then we have to create Profile at each and customer assign every Server to it and then assign every of that Server profiles to the automation profile
That's cumbersome and prone to errors
Much more efficient would be a set of filters at the automation profile, like "is Server" or "is a domain controller" or maony other smart things.
We would just assign am automation oder threshold profile to customers and it runs only at the matching agents

profil assignment for monitoring, patch management, automation could be more clear
to assigng a profile to a customer or to a , you have to drop down a customer (and a folder) and add ist.
Below you can see the allready assigned. What you can't see are the unassigned.
So you have to drop down an try to see, whats not assigned.
You will miss some.A (expanpandible for Customer-Folder) List of Checkboxes would be much more clear

Make all custom fields available in scripts
Currently only agent custom fields are available to use in scripts. All custom field should be available (where sensible). For example, customer wide custom field containing data we want to access in a script.

Patch Management - Offline agent in different category
Please set a different category esp in the Patch Management console so I can see Patched / Needs patches / Needs patches but offline or some notation of been offline for a while, etc. It's very hard to tell if I am up to date or it's just offline PC's / outdated PCs. I have no way of telling whether I am close to being up to date or a few offline PCs are throwing all my stats a skew. Super helpful if it had a color bar for this in the graphs.

patch approval report and scans
It would be great to have the patch approval section of the Automation Profiles to automatically populate instead of waiting for the automation profile to run.
I want to be able to see which patches are availble via the automation profile on a weekly basis but without having the risk of them installing when running the automation profile daily.
Currently, the new patch management screen automatically populates with new patches, and maybe this logic can be included in the automation profile patch approvals?
A report for pending patches per client could also be useful for clients that require an approval…

Separate Chocolatey and Homebrew options in Patch Management
Since Chocolatey doesn't support ARM binaries and sometimes breaks things by updating Edge Webview2 with x64 causing chaos where users are unable to open some apps (Teams) and download PDF's etc, we have disabled Chocolatey in Atera altogether.
But by disabling Chocolatey we also disable Homebrew for Mac since it's one button for both.
Can you please separate these options so that we can keep Homebrew enabled?

Omit Specific Devices From Patch Dashboard
For servers or computers that are used for specific purpose such as VEEAM or other reason like keeping a computer on older Windows versions for specific reasons, these computers are omitted from patch profiles and are not patched. These computers need to have an option to filter out of the patching dashboard and reports as they affect the reporting inaccurately due to this business practice.

Automated Full Disk Access for macOS via MDM (PPPC) Policy Deployment
It would be a huge time-saver if Atera could include the ability to deploy PPPC (Privacy Preferences Policy Control) profiles through its MDM tools to automatically grant Full Disk Access for the Atera agent on macOS devices.
Right now, we have to manually configure this on each Mac, which is both time-consuming and prone to being missed during setup. If Atera could handle this as part of the MDM deployment process, it would greatly simplify onboarding, improve monitoring reliability, and ensure better compliance across all endpoints.
This would be especially helpful for IT teams managing remote or large fleets of…

Version-lock
In development environments, it's critical to be able to set a specific version to applications, which cannot be upgraded further.
It's mostly used for browsers and infrastructure (For example, smbclient for domain-binding changed its tags and broke processes).
Setting up version lock for all packages (not just excluded windows updates) will allow for stable systems.2 votes -
Chain Patch Mangement Items
I would like to chain Patch Management items to one-another.
Meaning I would like to create (for example) A "Linux-upgrade" item which will be followed by "Linux cleanup" item, that only takes place after the previous item was finished.1 vote -
Allow Python Scripts
It would be a great help if we could create and send Python scripts, instead of only cmd, ps1 and bash.
A use case would be working with SentinalOne's API (Or any API for that matter) in order to transfer ownership between accounts.
At times, we require the endpoint itself to communicate with the API, and this is done mainly with Python1 vote -
