  1. Great tool!!
But it is a lot of manual work to go and check if there are new patches postponed and waiting for review. It will be great to have any kind of notification- an email? alert? So we'll know we need to go there and check it out.

  3. Give the option to stop the Ticket Automation Rule Flow if a specific automation criteria has been met. We have a problematic customer that we have to send a separate response to when doing anything with their tickets. I made a rule to send them a message when their ticket assignment changes, but they get 2 emails because it doesn't stop after that rule and continues on to the generic Ticket Assignment rule. If the flow would stop after the first one, we could get more creative and Customer/Contact specific with automated responses if necessary.

  4. How about having an option for large updates from MS and a caching server (local). Is there a way to cache large updates internally and point to this location?

    For example 22H2 is 127.5GB x 100 = 12.75 TB

  5. Most of our automated scripts fail because of "Unable to fetch information from agents." errors. Most of these agents are online and available during script run.

Atera should be able to run an automated script without reporting failure when WSUS is in use.

  6. Recent processes table records should be accessible from a separate menu item and records related to a specific device should be easily accessible from the device page.

Recent process records should also be accessible via API
The process records needs to be accesible by an ID and directly referenced via a URL so that the record for easy reference in emails, documentation and other systems.

  7. We need to be able to see all executions of a script, with the exact code that was executed and the script output. This history should be available from the Script (to see all the times it has been executed and on what devices) and from the Device (to see a history of all the scripts that have been executed on the device).

Each script execution should be saved in a separate entity with the date, time, device, script code, execution parameters, result and script output.

  9. I do daily patching on my devices. Since not all devices are always online at the time the report ist generated, it would be nice to see a difference in the generated report between a device, where the installation failed and those, which were just offline.

  12. In saturations where a single specific Microsoft KB needs to be applied to a Customer Group - It would be nice to be able to search for that KB and select for ONLY that KB to be pushed out through IT Automation and Patch Management.
Example: During Quarterly Maintenance, if we only want the previous months MS patches pushed and not the most current, it would be nice to be able to select the one KB and push it to that Customer Group.

  14. Title: Add Domain Account or specified accounts to Atera and to Shell/Scripts

Currently Atera uses system and current user for scripts and shell. Adding Domain credentials to Atera would eliminate storing passwords in clear text under scripts and make management easier for accessing domain resources - network drives etc...

With a system account - there is no access to domain network resources like drives. Yes there are work arounds using net use and possibly adding a domain account under Services.msc - Atera - Logon - domain account. What if the domain account breaks?....I mean yeah, there is a possibility to…

  15. For IT Automation Profiles, it would be nice under the 'assign to', to be able to choose not to assign an IT automation profile to devices that have software version X. Kind of being able to filter out (just like in the Advanced Filters in the Device tab) out installed software on a device.

  19. I would like the ability to create a step by step automation to control the order of which tasks/scripts get installed and insert reboot/shutdown tasks as needed. The automation would complete when all tasks have been completed in order. Having the ability to stop or continue on a task failure would be helpful as well. This would be similar to the automation of a Task Sequence in SCCM.

  20. Add options to control access to scripts, possibly by choosing which script categories can be accessed against roles in Atera. This would allow technicians to be given access to scripts relevant to their job role but not higher-level scripts which they should not be able to access or run.
