  1. Atera needs to let us know when things like URL formats are changed.
    Your customers are IT companies. UI and functionality updates are all well and good, and bug fixes are a must. Your release notes list these items, but there are technical details that are not published that should be. We need these details to make sure the systems and processes we have built on your product remain dependable for our customers and ourselves.

  2. General suggestion -- anytime you create an operation, create that operation with multiple endpoints in mind.

    When you want to activate an agent, you have to click each individual agent, HUNDREDS OF THEM, ONE AT A TIME and select activate agent. Same if you want to activate chat. Same if you want to install BitDefender. This software is supposed to make managing multiple endpoints simpler, right? It's ridiculous to have to even mention this for a RMM Tool, to be honest.

  4. Leave the admin tiles alone! Please do not shut off the admin tile menu on November 1st. Looking at tiles is substantially easier than digging through menus and submenus. Please let us keep the tiles. Thank you.

  5. I'm struggling with Atera security!
    I not only me as Business Owner require that , but other business owners need that option is well, that very important security future.
    Since COVID a lot of people continue to operate from home and are required by the policy to sign out and sign back into a Atera.
    Not all people do it and not follow it.

  6. Long story short: Add "Company Name" to the list of classification options during Azure AD Synchronization Setup

    JUSTIFICATION

    When trying to use the "Import Setup" step of the Azure AD sync, only "Office" and "Department" are listed as options for identifying which Site to add the users to. In our business case I'm over IT for 6 separate operating entities under one umbrella company (each daughter company has its own set of offices and departments so using either of these fields would get messy fast).   7. Sign in to multiple accounts in same browser and switch between them with ease and avoid logging in and out all the time or opening incognito windows to sign in multiple accounts. As we have more than one atera account we are managing this option will really make our lives easier.

  12. I love that Atera has customizable email templates - we've built out a good collection of these already for various responses that our users will get from Atera in their inboxes.

    One very lacking email capability however is there is no ability to modify the template for the forgot password process.

    As it stands, this current stock template has 3 of the "red flags" that we train our users against in our Security Awareness Training, due to how it's worded and how links are presented.

    Could we please have the ability to modify this email template as well?

  13. I'm working on importing users via CSV due to severe limitations on Azure AD sync (https://atera.uservoice.com/forums/936306-ideas-and-feedback/suggestions/47085382-azure-ad-group-sync-query-group-name-to-get-aroun).

    The CSV import works great - thank you for providing us with this option! However - can we please get the ability to also import the Department field?

    The response I got from Atera Support was this:

    We find that servers do not have a "Threshold Profile".

    From my exchange with support, there is no solution to list servers without a profile or with a specific profile like "None" or whatever.

    Can you add this function please.

  18. Update the Custom portal URL section (https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/211833798#CustomerPortalURL) , with the following:
    That HTTPs, doesn't work using this method.
    That a user can use a fowarder, i.e. helpdesk.xxx.com -> helpdesk.company.atera.com.

    If a forwarder is used, at least they can still point towards their domain, which forwards to Atera page etc.

  20. When using the API to modify contacts, the email field is not editable. However, in the web interface, you can edit the field. This implies that it's not a data model restraint, but a restraint in the API.

    We currently have customers who move between domains periodically and we have to update their email addresses. We'd like to manage that through an API automation from an external operations system.
