Pre and Post deployment functionalityPlease consider adding the following functionality to the automated profile structure.
It would be really useful to be able to configure specific script sequence (pre or post) deployment as a second step before or after running a patch.
Currently the scripts deploy in a random fashion rather than in a structured manor as per your support team currently.
An example of this would be to run a force restart of Google Chrome after applying the latest Google update.1 vote

With scripts to be able to have "helper files" to be able to upload with the msi filesUnder Scripts you have the option to be able to upload an MSI file but no helper files. we have software that required a .txt licensing filing and would be helpful to be able to add that feature as well as automatically with all scripts to run /quiet /qn /norestart with all MSIs 5 votes

Patch Management must follow policies set for the reporting and status to be usefulIt is great that there is a column in devices that will show all patches available.
But that is less important than having a column and patch mangement tool that reports relevant patches that are required to meet my organizations patch standards. This information has been provided to the system by my Automation and Patching Polices. Yet the Patch Management panel and the Patches Available column indevices do not reflect this. This makes the the patches available column not useful at all unless you just want to see what is available for that given end point according to the MS… 4 votes

Chain Patch Mangement ItemsI would like to chain Patch Management items to one-another.
Meaning I would like to create (for example) A "Linux-upgrade" item which will be followed by "Linux cleanup" item, that only takes place after the previous item was finished.1 vote

Sequential Execution and Post-Reboot Resumption in IT Automation ProfilesDear Atera Team, I hope this message finds you well. As we strive to automate repetitive IT tasks, I’ve been leveraging Atera’s IT Automation Profiles to streamline end-user device provisioning. While this feature has significantly improved our workflow, I’ve encountered a limitation that affects its full potential. Scenario:
Our provisioning process includes steps like:- Reinstalling or formatting used devices (or setting up new ones).
- Renaming devices based on Asset Tags.
- Installing the Atera agent, which initiates IT Automation Profiles to perform tasks such as: Installing software bundles. Running scripts (e.g., adding devices to Active Directory).
 Challenge:
 If a script in…4 votes

Exclude Clients from Patch Management PortalWe have some clients that don't want any patch management. This is fine as we can exclude their devices from any Automation / Patching profiles. However, their devices still populate the new Patch Management portal. It would be ideal to be able to exclude clients, folders, or individual machines from the Patch Management portal. This would give a more accurate number of machines requiring patches etc. 3 votes

I think it would be usefull to have the Patching Status exclude agents that do not have a an Automation Profile attached.I think it would be usefull to have the Patching Status exclude agents that do not have a an Automation Profile attached. I have lots of agents where the end user does not want to pay for device management so I don't apply any automation to the agents. 4 votes

Allow Python ScriptsIt would be a great help if we could create and send Python scripts, instead of only cmd, ps1 and bash.
A use case would be working with SentinalOne's API (Or any API for that matter) in order to transfer ownership between accounts.
At times, we require the endpoint itself to communicate with the API, and this is done mainly with Python1 vote

Delete tasks scheduled for offline devicesThe ability to remove scheduled tasks for devices that were offline when the task was run. e.g. If you push out an update that caused a problem, it would be nice to be able to remove the scheduled update (that will run when the device comes online) if you know it will cause an issue. 4 votes

Patch Management (New) - save a view or filtersPatch Management (New) - save a view or filters
It would be nice to save views that we have filtered in the new Patch Management section of the Atera Portal. It is causing a lot frustration Atera resets the filters I am using. especially hard when I have do my monthly IT Reports.1 vote

Patch managementIt would be nice to have a filter for the Patching Status widget. It seems like the patch status looks for all patches (OS, hardware ,etc) which skew the result. My team would just like to see how many devices that are fully patched but only OS patches. Updated for clarity. 1 vote

Enable a higher-level select all and Install option, similar to the Reboot feature. In the Devices view in Patch Management, enable select all and install, similar to the Reboot feature. It is tedious and time consuming to review and apply updates individually. 2 votes

View drop-down selection box for customers in Patch ManagementIn the patch management screen, could someone look into establishing a view drop-down feature so I don't have to back to patch management main screen and then reselect the customers I was looking at? That way I can create multiple views for the customers as needed. 3 votes

UAC contorol for PCThe situation is sometimes clients download free software from the internet which might contain malware, to stop this, I am suggesting a feature in the Atera agent for controlling the UAC of the client. So whenever a client needs UAC admin access, The agent blocks him and in real-time notifies the technician about the authorisation request to approve/deny. If the technician approves the request, the Agent should autofill the Admin password which can be set from the Atera dashboard, and give the client access. If the technician denies it, the message should go to the client of admin denied and… 15 votes

Better role selection in profile assignmentCurrently when assigning a patch management automation profile - you can't select required folders across all customers, it has to be done manually per customer which can become quite tedious. Would be good to filter by folder name i.e. all 'workstations' or all 'servers' across all customers. 1 vote

File storage to upload "loose" filesFile storage to upload "loose" files which can be downloaded to the endpoints and run together with scripts. Example: I need to push out a script to all devices which reads data from a config file. How do I get the config file to all computers and THEN have the script consume it? If there was a file repository, we could upload the config file, and then setup an automation which will include the file(s) and the script required and push the whole thing as a "configuration". 1 vote

Auto Tag depending on installesd Server roleAutomatically assign tags based on server roles so that it is possible to control update times based on tags.
For example, Hyper-V servers receive the tag “Hyper-V” DHCP servers receive the tag “DHCP” etc.1 vote
