Software Inventory Report To Show Software Installed and Patched By Atera
Software Inventory Report To Show Software Installed and Patched By Atera
It would be extremely useful to see which software is having the patching managed by Atera and which isn't. an additional column with green ticks for software managed and a warning icon of some description for software that is unmanaged.
Software unmanaged by Atera's patching for both Windows and Mac would have the option/button to have Atera reinstall the software so that it becomes managed by Atera's patch management process in the future.
Adding a Select All Unmanaged Software button that selects checkboxes against the appropriate software could allow…

Add the possibility to also copy the schedules when cloning a patch management task.
"I propose the enhancement of the patch management task cloning feature to include the option of copying associated schedules. Currently, when I create a new client, I clone a predefined task named AAA - TEMPLATE with its preconfigured schedule. I have to manually recreate the schedules each time. It would be highly beneficial to extend the cloning functionality to include schedules, allowing for a more efficient and streamlined process. This enhancement would save time and effort by maintaining consistency in default update policies while providing flexibility for clients with unique scheduling preferences."

Log Report for attempts / retries for offline device
We understand that the 'Run on offline' setting will keep the profile in the queue based on the set time. However, we would like to see Log Reports to sho if any attempts have been made. Currently, we can only view report logs for scheduled reports and not a way to check for attempted actions.

Use Local Time Zone for Automation Profiles
The ability to schedule automation profiles to run based on a device's local time rather than using the General Time Zone setting. For example, an OS patching automation profile that runs at 11am will run at 11am across every country/location regardless of timezone difference. Currently, the limitation is that if the profile is run at 11am and your selected timezone in Atera is set to '(UTC) - Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London', then this creates a problem where the profile runs in the middle of the night for users in Australia, which then means they won't get patched at the right…

Patch labels expanded
Expand on the options for patch approval to include "Manually approved" and "Automatically Approved" so you can see which updates have pushed out without your review.
Additionally being able to put patches "On Hold","To review" or "Pending Approval" rather than having to exclude them until you've been able to test and review them in your environment.2 votes -
Add Linux servers/machines to IT Automation Profiles for scheduling scripts
Allow Linux systems to be added to automation profiles so that we can schedule patching sessions and run other Linux scripts as needed on a mass basis and get a report via email like we do for the windows devices. At the moment we can only run the scripts manually against machine and see the output in recent processes report.

Exclusion option for certain folders next to the 'Run the profile on newly installed agents'
Some agents that are registered to a certain folder do not need our standardised new agents scripts and program installs as they don't sit on our primary domain so we would like to have an option to exclude a certain selection of folders from having the 'run profile' profile applied.

temp files clean up
we have a customer where a 3party software company is writing things into C:\Users\itwo\AppData\Local\Temp\1 the 3party company claims that due to limitations in .net this is the Standard/default path for reporting and can not be changed. so we would request the feature that we can exclude specific Path from the function Clean up Temp files.

Automation Profile Filters
Automation Profiles should include filters AT MINIMUM for device type like server or workstation. Additionally folders should include automatic inclusion filters so you can automatically assign workstations or servers (at minimum) to folders.
lastly, bulk manual addition of devices to folders should NOT be under "edit relations", that's for moving devices between clients, you should be able to easily move a device into a folder within a client without the opportunity to move it to another client.1 vote -

Automatically install ONLY defender security updates
Automatically install ONLY defender security updates so we can create a patch automation just for this. It would be super handy for clients who don;t have the money to buy paid antivirus and adds value to us as their support solution.

Scripts
We should be able to lock down certain scripts for Tech's only, keeping Admin scripts out of view. (Add a check-box or something to the Script Create\Edit screen)
It would be nice if we could re-sort the scripts list by Script Name and have a check-box to select several scripts with an option to MOVE them to a different Category

Ability to "Create VBScripts"
No Option for "Scripts"
Below our case already shared with Bill Frankel and your Support Team:
Basically we would like to have the ability to create VBScripts and distribute them to the devices we want them on it.Below one example of how we use the VBScripts to be able to distribute and push the script (before via Ninja without any issue) to All workstations and servers. We normally upgrade the version of the Dental Software that the practices use (PMS and Xray Software) and after the upgrade the install will push the icons by default, so we nee to…

Option to enable automatic AI suggestions within Ticket Automations
I would like to be able to enable AI suggested replies and solutions for all tickets received (perhaps within ticket automation rules). Ideally, it would look something like this
Ticket comes in > AI suggest both a reply and a solution > user can deploy the suggested reply with one click, or override it and write their own reply
They can manually attempt the solution if it seems viable, or disregard this.
If it could do this with each subsequent reply in the conversation that would be fab
the Ai assistance is actually incredibly helpful for us and generates good…

Date\time settings configurable to non-US standard
The old scheduler was in 24H format, the new scheduler goes back in time and is only configurable in freedom units. (AM/PM)
Can you please give the option to use a modern standard, or make it configurable? The same goes for the date notation. In Europe we work with day/month/year, not month/day/year.

Sequential Script execution
A lot of scripts need to be installed on 1 workstation at a time and not on multiple workstations/devices at the same time. It would be really helpful to be able as you select multiple devices to run a script to be able to select if you want to run them simultaneously or consecutively (1 at a time). like when you are deploying a new tool and it needs to be added to 1 device at a time. So if you are rolling a script to 100 devices, and they need to be done 1 at a time, with this…
