  1. it is incredibly tedious to have to assign users to devices individually, during initial deployment of 500 users this is a killer but more over having to do this on per new device ingested lack imagination surrounding automation.

If AD has been synced why not use this data to help link devices.

  2. Allow admin to set the AnyDesk to set an attained or unattained connection option for different sites or groups. instead of a universal setting for the whole company. The idea is to allow you unattained access to the server farm but also need attaining mode for any user computers.

  3. This terminology needs improving
Retired devices should be renamed to "Infrequent Devices" and in general settings moved to section called reporting rather than agent settings and described as the "Infrequent devices threshold".
Just because a machine has not been switched on recently, does not mean it is retired! - it could be a laptop that is only used twice a year as a standby, but just should be excluded from certain patch compliance reports etc.

proper retirement of machines is a whole different feature as per https://atera.uservoice.com/forums/936306-ideas-and-feedback/suggestions/44000010-ability-to-archive-retired-devices

  4. On the devices list, show a column for what contact and customer that devices belongs to.

The relationship field is important and this uses the contact details for who this device belongs to, some devices are being logged into as a generic username or maybe being logged into using old details, therefore for the username field can be unreliable.

  5. SNMP monitoring on Printerdevices works when the Printers is online so thats not an issue. But when users turn them off going home for the day or weekend we get a flood of alerts for offline status, however if i then turn off availability monitoring i do not get any SNMP information anymore for toner and drum consumption. We need a way to still get SNMP monitor information but exclude alerts for offline printers.

  7. Have a way to monitor or see Network Utilization in a device metrics chart for the max, avg, upload, download for the network? For instance, if a site is claiming issues with their network, I would like to see if a device that is being monitored by our ATERA is using up the network bandwidth. Note: I am a small business MSP and most of my clients don't have the network hardware in place to monitor in detail this information.

  9. You recently released options to schedule a one-time reboot; take that further. Let's get "Schedule..." in addition to "Run" uniformly throughout Atera. I would love to schedule Patch installs for tonight but from the run window - just delay that start. Same for anything and everything that you can do "now" - would love to be able to do it later too.

  11. Allow the serial number to be a hyperlink that when clicked, it copies the serial number and then opens another web browser tab that is the support website for the brand of computer you have and you can then past the serial number and search warranty information or other specific information for that specific computer.

  13. The search bar within Assets only works to search based on the fields visible on the Assets page, such as Name Values, Asset Type, Folder, User at the moment.
It should also work with other custom fields too (For example Serial number, Warranty End date etc....

How nice would be if Atera will fix the search Feature and will expand the search filter to all others fields too under Assets section.

I also contacted Atera support team and they confirmed about this issue and suggested me to vote here.

  14. OID's are generally provided by the hardware manufacturers, or can be found in so-called OID repositories, where collections of MIB trees and the corresponding OIDs can be accessed.

Scenario: Add the IP of an HP switch and then choose the correct template.

  15. It would be nice to have the page buttons (1,2,3... etc) at the top of the page as well as the bottom. This way we don't have to scroll down to the bottom every time we want to go to the next page.

  17. It is critical that when I search my device list, it includes the Notes field for each device. I put relevant notes about where the device is or who is using it in that field. My device naming convention is random and ordinal making it confusing if I don't read/have the notes.

  18. Atera needs to be able to have an alert set for when a USB drive disconnects. This would be most useful for local backup drives; if someone unplugs the drive, or if the drive fails (would cause the same alert event, I would assume) the backup cannot run!

  19. Want to make it possible in the devices search to see which of the devices have enabled Availability Monitoring so it's easier to find those that need monitoring but haven't enabled it.
    For example:
Searching for all devices named "Server", now we need to manually check every search result instead of having an option in the search for Availability Monitoring Enabled/disabled.

  20. When we reset a device in the company, for a new employee. Atera is reinstalled as a completely new device. Can you make it that when A new device is enrolled with the same serial number as a current device in the system. The old device is deleted, or prompted to be deleted. At the moment, you have to do it all manually and have multiple devices with the same serial number (the same physical device)
