  1. The preset threshold for failed log in attempts is currently 3, we are unable to alter this to a higher number. Even Microsoft is currently 5 before they do a lockout. Can we get the option to alter the preset number to something higher either say a preset options to select from a list or a number entry option for the system? Currently when attempted to alter the border just goes gray and does nothing.

  4. Would like the ability to have Atera alert of agents offline as a threshold with levels of Information, Warning, Critical, Crisis. This would really help us out.

  5. It would be great to be able to extend the no reply ping period. I have some devices that do a reboot every week, this reboot should take longer than the default in Atera between 2 ping checks. it suddenly generates false alarms, and it is therefore time-consuming!

  6. Currently SNMP devices have a number of default monitors that are no9t shown on the interface.
These need to be removed, or have the option of not using them.
The ability to granularly add OIDs negates the need for them. I understand that some people may desire the defaults, so how about the option to not use them.

I just went through the operation of creating MANY SNMP devices and templates, only to find that even on the devices I intentionally did NOT add monitored OIDs (Informational only) only to find that ALL of the devices need to be re-added…

  7. Under each company, my "Favorites" list should not be the same as other Atera users Favorites list. In some cases, certain roles don't have or shouldn't have access to the same machines even, so our Favorites list should not be the same.

  8. It would be nice to be able to create friendly names for devices. That way we can search for people by name in the search bar. Say a client has like 300 devices. It'd be nice to make the PC name - HomePC101 and give it a friendly name such as like Matt Fox Home PC. Then we can just search "Matt Fox" in the search bar and pull up the device very quickly.

  9. The search bar improvements that were made on Jun 29, 2021 are great but adding them as filterable items in Advanced Filtering on the Device page would make it so one can filter based on those fields, filtering on them to target for specific actions such as software deployment or scripts.

  10. at the moment you can nowhere can see in the device view of an server/desktop agent if it is monitoring other devices like "generic".

at the moment we swap a lof of virtual servers which monitor certain others things in the network. you finally see it if you want to delete an old, swapped server, then you get the note that there are devices monitored.

you can do notice this if you browse through the device list of a customer which in fact you never do. os as i told you a few times now that in the dashboard "monitored…

  11. Searchable Media types, I.E HDD, SSD. You can search by disk model number but would like to know all devices that have a certain type of media for inventory purposes, rather than having to search by each model of media.

  14. Current filter function is virtually unusable to look for a specific device. I'd recommend a simple search bar to would compare the results for not only machine name but for current logged in user and possibly others.

  19. At the moment if you have a machine with multiple graphics cards in Atera will only list the first one it happens to find - which is not very useful. Please list all the graphics cards in a device.

  20. When devices throw alerts (i.e. CPU, Memory, Disk I/O, Network Utilization) have the ability to launch a remote Perfmon.exe (or equivalent) session to be able to diagnose issues with a real time view of performance metrics. This might require a custom interface to make it cross platform, but for Windows to Windows, it could be as simple as invoking perfmon.exe for the desired target device.
