  1. Could be great that the Atera agent scans the devices looking for known vulnerabilities, just as we do with some products, to then report all the items found and having a knowledge base with all the recommended fixes.

    For example, Atera would scan the registry for settings that are not in compliance with a template provided like "Windows Clients - enhanced security", and then will report for each found setting and will have a link for the knowledge base with more information on what should be configured.   2. Executive customer report. Intended to be sent to the customer once a month.
    This report should include the following;

    How many tickets were opened, closed,
    How many alerts were opened and closed,
    How many updates/patches were installed
    Status of AV,
    Status of backup,
    How much time technicians were in remote session
    overall health of their systems.

    This would give us a leading approach and make it easier for us to quantify costs if they are seeing how much work is being done in the background.

  3. a disgruntled employee could go through Atera and delete critical passwords. the wrong password could be updated. An old system could come back to us with an out of data admin password that has been updated in atera and the old one forgotten.

    the ability to run a password history report on a client to see old or deleted passwords that were stored in atera, so it would make the actions of a disgruntled employee useless instead of critically damaging.

  4. Make it so you can see Webroot Alerts, which computers have it installed, clean viruses, run scans, etc. all from inside Atera.

  5. It would significantly help customers if the system was able to print Asset Tag Labels, including a QR code that if scanned it opens a new ticket for that asset, under the associated user.

  7. Add ability to add multiple threshold profiles onto device

  8. It would be nice if the Atera agent could discover and effectively manage hypervisors, as Hyper-V. That it detects the Hyper-V role installed, Virtual Machines running on each host, and show the statistics and status of all the VMs in almost real-time in the web console. Also, to be able to see the overall resource utilization like RAM, CPU, Disk, from the host side, so that we can confirm our virtualization host is going OK. Also later the ability to monitor and manage Hyper-V Clusters.

  9. We have a few practices that use a tablet (one client uses Android, another two use iPads). We would love the ability to install Atera on tablets to have a more complete understanding of our client's network picture.

  11. I would pay double if we could get a dedicated, customizable WALLBOARD that doesn't have access to anything except the widgets we checkbox.

    Basically the existing Dashboard, but not requiring a User License and that WALLBOARD user not having access to anything except for the live dashboard.

    Every other system has a Wallboard/NOC Display feature.

    No user license would be used for this, as it wouldn't be a user, but I wouldn't be against paying a little extra for this "user", as I understand it would require it's own login. That dedicated login would also have to not be limited…

  12. We enabled WOL (Wake on LAN) on our desktops. It would be great if we can schedule a WOL packet being send to offline computers before processing the automation task. So we never interupt the end users by processing the updates outside office hours.

  13. Clients have asked me for copies the the ticket's in a pdf form. There is no nice way to print a ticket, and the time entry notes.

  16. Currently a single customer is unable to have several different sites configured. For example of company that runs several dentist practices in different locations. Also if you create a new customer for each of the practices you are unable to use the same contact / owner details across the different customer profiles which causes another problem.

    So the solution would allow us to create multiple sites under one customer profile thus allowing us to access these different sites and allowing us to use the same contact details. It will also be good to have the ability to assign different contract…

    1. One is to incorporate a password on the agent so people cannot accidently or purposely shut down the agent or uninstall because they are not sure what it is!
    2. Expand the White Label branding so it also allows customizing or generically displaying the install program name and folder name, as well as in the Apps and Add Remove Program Files. Instead of “Atera” under Program Files or Program Files (x86), or the Apps and Add Remove Program files use something like “RmmAgent” or “MSPcompanynameagent” The reason is customers see the Atera program and decide they do not know…

  19. The ability to import a floor plan from a customer location would be great. Something where objects could be manually dragged to their location on the floorplan for users, printers, datacenter etc. Then we could lay out a customer location and be able to know where the device is located. Even as far as clicking on the device to bring up its screen to manage it.
