  1. When rebooting a windows machine after patching check if the machine has a bitlocker encrypted boot drive and disable bitlocker encryption.

    Optional (and maybe harder, so maybe don't bother):
    Have an option to set -RebootCount (for how many reboots bitlocker should be disabled) or set it to >1 as some updates reboot multiple times and check after reboot if patching is done and re-enable bitlocker.

    Alternatively:
    Have an option to start a script at the beginning of the patch process so we can do is ourselves with Powershell's Suspend-BitLocker cmdlet.

  2. If in the Task area under OS Patch MGT a box is unchecked do not show any available patches anywhere ever. If unchecked here I shouldn't have to exclude them anywhere and I should not see them anywhere.

    By them showing it appears as if things are missing when in reality they were never wanted. In my case it is Hardware updates, we do not want this automated as it has caused major issues in the past running these automatically so we prefer to send these manually if needed.

  3. We have a lot of Automation profiles. At the moment there is no sorting by profile name. So it is difficult to manage the profiles or have a good overview.

  4. Most of our automated scripts fail because of "Unable to fetch information from agents." errors. Most of these agents are online and available during script run.

    Atera should be able to run an automated script without reporting failure when WSUS is in use.

  5. IT Automations profile: Would be nice to have a notification when multiple IT automations coincide since we have a lot of users on Atera.

  6. In saturations where a single specific Microsoft KB needs to be applied to a Customer Group - It would be nice to be able to search for that KB and select for ONLY that KB to be pushed out through IT Automation and Patch Management.
    Example: During Quarterly Maintenance, if we only want the previous months MS patches pushed and not the most current, it would be nice to be able to select the one KB and push it to that Customer Group.

  8. Hi, it would be very useful if we could define in the patch summary report the number of missing patches when a client is Up to date or not.
    Because in a larger network the report is nearly always Negative.

  9. A way to find agents that do not have an Automation profile assigned. I missed assigning a automation profile to a site during a setup. I found out a month later when these machines did not restart at the expect maintenance window. I am now wondering if there are others I have missed. I don't fancy checking every single site or agent!

  10. I have many devices in my account, but I'd like to make sure they're all getting patched. I would like to be able to run a report which shows me if I have any devices that don't have a patch management profile assigned to them. Thanks.

  11. I would like to have more granularity in the IT Automations patching. I would like to control patching to a greater degree with other stuff. Could choose to check for updates at 10 and then download at 12 and then apply them at 2 am.

  12. When you click Admin then Patch Management & IT Automation
    On that list screen it would be awesome to see "Next Execution Time" as an option.

    Instead of having to click inside each one to see when it runs next.

  13. The ability to assign a random wait time if you're running a script on many machines.

    For example, if I'm using a script to download and install some software, I don't want to have 400 machines all request for a download from a webserver and tax the traffic or get restricted.

    I know there are delay options for offline devices so it can wait, but it would be ideal to be able to set a random delay, and pick the limit. So, I could apply a script to run on 400 devices, and I can set it to pick a…

  14. I’d like to run one-off scripts in bulk by checking multiple devices without having to create a script in the script library.

  15. Using the API you can set a Threshold profile when creating a customer folder. I think it would be useful and make sense if you can also set an IT Automation Profile from this as well.
    From this :
    data = {
    "Name": "string",
    "CustomerId": int,
    "ThresholdId": int
    }

    To this :
    data = {
    "Name": "string",
    "CustomerId": int,
    "ThresholdId": int,
    "AutomationProfileID" : int
    }

  19. Execution of automation profiles in dependence of each other, i.e.:

    Run folder/group one on Microsoft Patch day (2nd Tuesday of month)
    Run folder/group two one week after automation profile 1
    Run folder/group three another week after automation profile 2
    and so on....

  20. In many cases, the auto tag feature is very helpful. However there may be a specific software or item that results in a lot of tickets from users that don't fall under a auto tag. It would be great to create a custom tag, but also have the custom tag act as an auto tag.

    For Example: WireGuard is an application my organization uses for VPN services. We can create a custom tag named "VPN" and create a rule where the AI will scan for keywords such as "VPN" or "WireGuard" in order to auto tag it.
    Then in ticket…
