  2. Send email to user if laptop not patched for x days. Customer tun off their computers and then put them to sleep so the IT automation didn't go through. We need to send them an email to let them know to keep it on

  3. Example: When viewing the devices list, it shows a device has 10 patches pending. When clicking on it, it reveals they are all optional driver updates under Windows. I think the patching should allow you to specify which update types are important to know about, and possibly based on the current patching profile it has setup on that device.

  7. How can we be sure that an automation profile has REALLY finished? There is no option.. We need to see the end time of an IT automation profile.
    Else we cannot guarantee our customers the patching and restarts in their time frame.

    This is just basic stuff and it is pretty annoying that you cannot be sure when a profile has REALLY finished. Atera needs to improve very much..

It would be highly beneficial to control the behaviour of the service monitoring threshold item. i.e. when a monitored service is down for 3 checks at 2 min intervals then raise an alert, rather than the service being flagged as down as part of a software update where the services starts and stops.

  9. It would be great if the 'Run on offline agents' timeframe setting for IT Automation and Patch Management could be defined for each profile. Currently it can only be defined for all profiles.

    For example, it would be great for patching or software updates to be run on offline agents for a week or more. That way they would still get the patches/updates if they were offline at the scheduled push time. However, if I have a separate profile pushing a reboot, I would never want that profile to be pushed to an offline agent when it comes back online.…

  10. With a lot of apps being SaaS these days, it would be nice to be able to add a web browser shortcut linked to certain websites to device desktops.

  11. Would be great if we could alert a tech if a ticket they are assigned to has not been updated in a set period. This may also work to send a reminder email to a customer if they have not responded to a request within a set period.

    Would prevent the tech from having to chase manually and remind them to keep tickets up to date.

  12. Currently, when a threshold alert fires, it is possible for the alert to trigger an auto-healing script to run. For example, if the Service that is being monitored stops, it is possible to assign a script to launch to start the service.

    The problem is that you have to have a unique script for each service. It should be possible to pass or expose parameters/variables from the alert to the script. This way, we can develop generic scripts and reuse them for multiple threshold alerts.

  13. Patch Repository - Ability to set serveral PC's or servers as patch repositories and assign computers to use that PC to retrieve patches to save bandwidth.

  15. Patching: Would be nice to have a clearer message for when the device is off. When the device is off, they have an error message but it is not very clear, it doesn’t tell us that’s its because its offline. Would be nice to have a better error. Would be nice to then tell the enduser that this is why it didn't work and gives him two solutions: if its offline, then give him the possibility of turning on the computer via wake on lan.

  18. Add Description field that also displays on Patch Management and IT Automation list page, and the ability to Search on that description. At present we have to give our Automation Profiles very long names to help us determine what the job is for.

  19. we all now about what atera can do , nut the first thing i noticed or i can say i want it if its possible , imagine if all feature of atera was in a software to be installed , and run like jarvis - from iron man - or even like siri
    imagine if you just say hi atera whats my network condition , or what is my devices condition , it will replay in voice and saying this is your devices status ,...etc
    imagine if it tells you the alarms not just showing them as a notification .…
