  1. So i have a typical backup error that occours once or twice a week on random customers, some scenarios is when the backupvault isnt available for example internet interuption or similar.
Then the "manual" solution" is to restart the service next day when i check the backuplogg. So it would be nice to be able to tick a box in combination with running a selfhealing script that close the alert imedieately if the "selfhealing" setting is enabled. I can then automatically trigger a new backup and the later backup will most probaly run successful. This could of course be nice…

  2. Ability to detect if a device alarm has already created a ticket and then add to it and not open a new ticket.

currently atera creates a ticket from an alarm. If the ticket is not closed and the alarm is retriggered, a new ticket is created. I would like Atera to recognize this and add the alarm to the existing ticket rather than creating a new ticket.

  3. When doing maintenance of whatever on multiple machines, it would be very handy to pause the alerts on all those machines in one time. Now you can only do it per machine.
There is already a multiple select for machines when you're looking at the machines of a customer, so adding a button to pause alerts shouldn't be that difficult I hope.

  4. I have an alert setup that lets me know that there has been a certain amount of failed logins on a server, the thing is, it doesn't tell me where that failed attempt is coming from. A feature would be nice where we're alerted if it's an external attack or someone simply puts in the password wrong multiple times.

  5. Monitor memory pressure instead of memory utilization on Apple Silicon Macs. Memory utilization is a moot point on these devices as memory stays near full by design on this hardware. Memory pressure is a better gauge of stress on these systems.

  6. Please set it up to notify if a local administrator account has been enabled. This account is disabled by default, so if it is mysteriously enabled, we need to know about it.

  8. Hi support,
I think it could be nice to have the possibility to mark what kind of a part threshold can send email and what no.
For example: hdd usage over 90% sends critical email alert, but cpu temp over 70 for a couple of time not.

Nice! The feature you requested is being reviewed by our product team. We’ll keep an eye on the number of votes, and let you know if a decision is reached to implement. Thank you for being a partner in our process!

  9. It is imperative that there be a separate/different subject line when a computer is unavailable, and also that it indicates how many computers are involved. This is basic for any RMM and is a huge flaw in your service. For those of us who have a lot of customers/machines, there are a lot of emails that come in daily and it is way too easy to miss ones as critical as unavailability. It cannot be that difficult to have those go out with a different subject line, or even allow for text notifications under those circumstances.

  10. it would be nice if atera could fix errors on its own. search the event logs for errors and solve them on its own or at least suggest solutions using Microsoft KB articles.

  11. Alert if you grab a ticket that someone else has already grabbed, alert before you save any comments if the ticket is in someone else's name, alert before you change the status of a ticket that belongs to someone else, etc.

Basically, this will just let you know that someone else got to it faster since it is not real-time and you are not both working the same ticket.

  12. It would be very useful if the same alerts were grouped, for example: if I get an alert from a client 5 times an hour that the ssl certificate is about to expire, this alert should not be created again and again but only once with a counter that counts up the messages.

  13. Hi, I have a script that runs in a threshold profile to report if any PC has had an uptime of more than 7 days. This comes back in alerts. I want to be able to alert the user through the agent that their PC has been up for more than 7 days and to restart their PC.

  14. The new script-based threshold item is a really great addition, but it highlights an important component missing from Atera - inheritance.

When applying thresholds to endpoints, it's necessary to have thresholds inherit monitors from upstream thresholds. Right now in Atera, only one threshold can be applied to any endpoint at a time. What we need are thresholds that can build upon each other and overwrite values based on where the value changes.

For instance, I'd like to configure a top level (default) threshold to apply to everyone, but then get more specific with thresholds at a customer, and even more…
