  1. Improve email alerting. The ability to have more granular alerting on a per customer basis. The ability to email difference email addresses for a customer or even further and for a individual alert.

  2. When we onboard new systems, we typically want to make sure certain items have been configured (such as the Remote Desktop port changed from the default settings of 3389). It would be nice if we could create an alert based on a value in the registry. That way we could check if the default port has been changed after a new machine has been set up or if it is still using the default port. An alert would be triggered if it didn't match the particular value and a ticket could be created.

  3. Hello, currently we are able to trigger a script from an alert, however, we can't automate a script if a monitored device goes down. This function would be great

  5. I would like to be alerted if unexpected ports are opened on the company firewall, a very simple pen test that scans a specified public IP (or URL) and checks if any non specified ports are open. It would be an automatic scan that runs once a day.

  6. Option to modify the timeout in which an agent hasn't established communicatio via the Admin portal. Currently, the only option is a manual REG change on each computer.

  7. can u add/change the feature for "availabity monitoring" to where we can modify the time settings without modifying the registry on servers that have the antera agent. Currently there is no Threshold Profile that can accomplish this, nor do we have any option to change the time interval that atera as set, which I believe is 3 minutes.

  8. I would like to have the ability to add multiple warning and critical alerts for "HardDisk Usage" in a single Treshold Profile. I want to add different warning/critical tresholds for separate hard disk drives.

    I.e: C-drive (system drive) has a warning alert on 85% full and a critical alert on 90%. D,E,F-drives have warning alerts on 90% and a critical alert on 95%.

  9. When reviewing alerts and opening a ticket from an alert, device that originally caused the alert not automatically adding to new ticket. As an example, I received an alert for disk usage exceeding 95%, this of course is directly associated with a device since it triggered the warning, however when creating a ticket from this alert, it is not associating the device with the ticket, only a customer (presumably one who last used the device) and if that customer does not have that particular device assigned to them it won't associate with the ticket at all. This should be intuitive…

  10. I couldn't find any information on the Network Bandwidth monitor and ended up thinking it worked intuitively, when in reality it doesn't.

    Atera's Network Bandwidth monitor is actually monitoring the total bytes sent and received on an interface. A better name for this monitor would be "Network Utilization" as that describes what is being measured, or better yet "Network Interface Utilization" because Atera isn't monitoring the entire network saturation, only the interface utilization on an endpoint.

    I do think there's still a place for bandwidth monitoring though. I'd like to monitor for low bandwidth connections so I can be better…

  11. Offline agent Alert: When a machine goes offline, rebooted or something, we get a lot of tickets going offline. We get a 3 dozen tickets and even though they might not be. would be nice to choose the interval of how long a device is offline before sending alerts.

  13. It would be good to be able to generate reports based on specific Event Viewer events and IDs, along with details about the events. Currently we can monitor for the events, but we cannot see any details about any events in a report format.

  15. it would be great if i could create a ticket/task to a technician without customer contact dependencies
    for example if an alert informing a server not connected for 2-3 days . i want to be able to create a ticket to a technician with no customer contact manually or automatically

  16. For our maintenance we need to be able to stop alerts customer wide. Right now it is an extremely cumbersome and limited function that needs to be extended. Your competitor has had this feature implemented long ago and we are considering switching back to them because of this issue.

  17. Drive usage by percentage only is not terribly useful given the wide variety of current storage capacities: a 'data' drive may hold multiple TB, whereas an older/cheaper SSD may be 256GB or less.

    Please add and AND/OR type statement to allow for multiple conditions in an alert, so we can specify a warning or critical alert based on relevant criteria, without having to create separate profiles for each type of device.

  18. We want to monitor all critical event logs but we do not want to receive alert emails from them. Other alerts like when devices are offline should generate an alert email but not event logs.

    Like this it would enable customers to centralize their event logs in Atera.

  20. Add Integration Monitoring of Email-Notifications from different Devices, likewise "Checkcentral" for example. We monitor Backupjob from different systems with different Software. The Software send only Mails, when the Backup-Job is definitly running OK, otherwise the Monitor shows failure.
