Two options for Windows Update restart configuration
It would be great if there were the ability to select two choices under Window Update restart configs. The idea being, I have windows updates under Automation scheduled to go at 11 pm every Thursday. My configuration policy is currently set to Allow end users to control device restarts. This is because my end users computers are not always online at 11 pm. So when the computer comes back online the next morning the update policy kicks in and then starts prompting the user. The problem then becomes updates wont reboot the computer the night before because of those prompts…

Allow technician to patch workstations with "Manage Scripts" and "Server Remote Manage" disabled
To authorize a technician to patch workstations, you need to activate 3 options in the roles (Manage Patch and IT Automation, Manage Scripts and Server Remote Manage).
This way of managing roles makes no sense and represents a security flaw.
In my opinion, enabling the "Manage Patch and IT Automation" option alone should allow a technician to manage patches on workstations (with Manage Scripts and Server Remote Manage disabled).
I don't want a novice technician to be able to administer the servers, let alone the scripts on which we often spend long hours.
I hope that my request will be…1 vote -

see which computers are missing automation profile
we need the ability to see with a view clicks which computers are missing an automation profile so when installing automation profiles you can't forget that a computer has no profile and therefore doesn't receive the updates and stuff.

custom software bundles
I have several clients that don't have an AD environment. I am trying to install specialized software not available to the public or that is not on chocolatey. I would like to ask for the ability to create custom software packages with arguments that can be set to install using policies.
Like assign backup Policy that will install my backup on the box and allow me to manage it with the vendor.
Policy that will install a package when agent is installed.

Extra information on IT automation landing page
The "Patch Management and IT Automation" landing page only has 1 info about Last Modified date and time. Please include extra info about When was the last time it was run and next time it will run. Similar to Windows Schedular, that way you can have a quick glance on how your IT automation profiles are configured and their health.

Patch Management Exceptions (Product Family Control)
Currently when adding exceptions within a patch management profile you must add the exceptions on a per patch basis. However, we are running into instances were certain servers should not receive specific product updates automatically day one (e.g., SQL, and PowerShell).
It would be nice to have a feature that acts as a wild card exception for any related patches to a product existing or future so we don't have to update the policy prior to every maintenance window.

Delivery Optimization thru Atera
Atera can use Delivery Optimization (Microsoft). Finally, Microsoft developed better Windows Updates through Delivery Optimization to efficiently manage the data transmitted thru the Internet.
Now, Atera needs to be able to use this feature instead of enabling "Local Windows Updates" to be used.

Automation Reporting Detail
Differentiate between Agent that are offline during an update and ones with issues performing the actual update.
When I go to the report for automation / windows patching I can't tell whether an agent was offline or there was an error with the update process. Please provide more detail in the the automation report so I know what I should be troubleshooting.

I would like to request that automation task feedback email have more information about the patches it installs eg. name of actual patch ins
I would like to request that automation task feedback email have more information about the patches it installs eg. name of actual patch installed and what vm's/pc it got applied to e.g. computer name. Currently it will just say how many agents in the task and if it was successful or not. Another feature that would be great would be to be able to schedule an existing ticket and not just a new ticket.

Patching Sandbox
The patch approval is great, but still, Atera doesn't offer the option to test out the patches. I don't trust the online forums. I'd like to even buy a dummy environment to try the patch before I approve it.

Scheduled automation on next start-up in case of failure
It would be fantastic if, within automations, we could have a checkbox option, for instance, to launch certain scheduled tasks during the next startup if the scheduling couldn't take place due to the agent being offline, as many RMM platforms already offer. Nowadays, with the rise of remote work and mobile workstations, it's even harder to schedule certain tasks at a fixed time.

Patch Management Page
A Patch Management page, Not a report. Where we can see all available updates. Approve/Deny/Postpone them. Also see how many devices are missing said update and click install if needed.
in the same place an overview of what devices are currently downloading/installing/updating/Failed live view
I have tried using the report and clicking install all missing patches but this does not work. However going to each individual asset and clicking select all > install works.
So to recap an actual patch management page, where we can manage all systems/customers etc

set 32 vs 64 bit behavior on software bundles.
We would benefit from the ability to install 32 bit versions of software onto machines running a 64 bit OS. Currently this can be done machine by machine via script, but this is tedious.
