  2. I can assign a threshold to all devices at once which is ok and all, but I would like to set a threshold profile to all customer profiles at once so that if a new PC is added to any client I don't have to push the application of the profile to devices to all again.

My use case is that I am currently setting up new thresholds as if I were new to Atera to better match what we are currently doing. Then I will setup profiles for certain servers and such and apply them manually. Well I'd like…

  3. The ability to mark a Patch or Update as suspected bad. If so many Atera users mark one as suspected bad then Atera automatically suspends the install for all other Atera users and when a patch or update is corrected, the suspension is lifted and automatically installed. The idea behind this is to slow down the spread of updates that cause system and application crashes.

  5. When having multiple software bundles, scripts, etc in a single IT Automation, it would be very helpful to be able to assign the order that the actions are performed.

  6. Sometimes we do not wish to push out Office updates at the same time as Windows updates. It would handy to have a checkbox that allows you to either enable or disable ALL Office updates from an automation policy.

  7. I think the ability to select multiple software bundles within the Patch Management & IT Automation profiles would be extremely useful for setting up different departments of a company (i.e. select a base essentials and software development bundle for a software engineer)

  8. It would be nice for the automation profile to have the possibility to run it hourly ( or at custom intervals ( in min o r hours) ).
Now if I want it to run hourly, I have to create 24 shedules daily, each for different hours

  10. Hi,

First of all, thanks for what you guys do... runs my business, makes my life easier everyday.

I know my suggestion probably sounds off but basically we have plenty of generic EXE installers that would be great to just have the script reference that installer file but have a different argument per. So as an example:

If i want to setup a installed for Trendmicro for my client, i have to upload a 200MB generic MSI file, put in the arguments the info that assigns to a specific client, and then save. Then i have to REDO this for…

  11. IT Automation, Adding Customer by Folder. I cannot apply per folder from the setup screen, without adding the Customer first and Save, which then adds ALL DEVICES to the Automation job. There should be an option on the Applied To > Folders tab that allows me to select a Customer, then the Folder all in one screen.

  12. The ability to run scripts at User login like you would a script delivered via GPO. As an MSP I like to keep the secret sauce close to home and not on the client's servers.

  13. Automation profile and "Run profile on newly installed agents" function.
It is very important that the profiles can be queued and the next one will not start working until the previous one has finished.

  15. Ticket Automation needs an action to "Send Email to All Technicians", which, obviously, will send the selected Email Template to All Technicians.

Currently, we only have the Action "Send and Email", and we have to manually enter all email addresses. This becomes problematic when Technicians change if you forget to add the new tech to the rule or remove old tech.

  16. set up waterfall inheritance model for IT Automation profile:
    Customer -> Folders -> Agents
so the deepest can override settings of the above.

    Example:
Profile 1 with OS updates applied to customer "A" has "deny manual updates" Profile 2 with OS updates applied to folders "Servers" of Customer "A" has "enable manual updates"

this feature should allow profile 2 to overrule Profile 1 (at the moment they conflict) and there is no way to exclude folders from the policy

  17. It would be great to have the option to run an automation profile on a specific agent computer on demand, the way we can scripts. I know we can setup automation profiles, assign customers or agents, then run them on everything they are assigned to. That works fine most of the time. Having the option to not just run scripts on demand for specific agents, but also automation profiles the same way would save us a lot of support time. Possibly even running an automation profile on an alert, the way we can assign scripts now.

  18. In other MSP platforms I have used, we have the ability to cache patches and AV updates for a remote site on a single device which helps reduce the bandwidth requirements to deploy patches and AV updates. After talking to support, this architecture is not implemented today. This would be greatly beneficial for customers who have multiple sites but a single ISP at a central location.

  20. I would be useful to limit technicians to see only some threshold profiles and only some scripts.
The scripts could be organized by folders.
