Filtering for devices by Disk Type
Filtering for devices by Disk Type doesn't seem to be an option - We can sort by size, free space, model, bitlocker status, but not by disk type.
We still have some spinning rust and are upgrading them as we find them. I would LOVE to filter out the device list by systems that need an upgrade.

Make the search bar at the top of the Atera Dashboard search for custom fields in devices
It would be great to let the search bar index the custom fields of devices. We have Notes and other custom fileds that help us identify some devices. It would be great if we could quickly find them through the custom field values.

Manually retire device
Give a tech the ability to manually retire a device instead of waiting on a pre-configured time to pass. Right now the only way to flag a device as retired is to ignore it until the allotted amount of time has passed for the system to change the status.

Device counter
Seems like it should just be a basic function so it's weird that it's not already there.
But, it would be really helpful if there was a counter at the top of the Devices list for customers showing the total number of devices. It's kind of silly to have to run a report just to see how many devices a customer has.

In the add new device - SNMP screen, search the Managing Device field by customer name
In the add new device - SNMP screen, search the Managing Device field by customer name. We have a LOT of customer and they have a LOT of devices. As it stand now, the only way to navigate through that screen is to scroll down with the side bar or the mouse wheel. Using the keyboard takes you to the first device with that letter, but that can be problematic since the first client has a device named "Server" but I needed to find a client down in the S's...

Logfile
It would be great to have the ability to add a logfile to "monitored" devices.
In that case you could any change (p.e. userrights, diskspace, firmware update, ... ...).
Just to have a complete overview of the changes that were made during the time on any device.1 vote -
Pull IMEI from LTE/5G devices
We deploy a lot of LTE/5G capable devices. It would be helpful if the device IMEI could be fetched and displayed in the hardware info.

show date and time of scheduled reboot
If a reboot is scheduled, it is not possible to see if a reboot is scheduled or when the reboot will happen. It would be helpful if the devices-view could show the date and time of the scheduled reboot. Maybe the "reboot required"-column could change to date/time if a reboot is scheduled. Or an additional column with date /time of the scheduled reboot could be added to the view?

Manage "task manager"
Device > Manage > Task Manager
It would be nice to have a search field at the top, similar to Device > Manage > Software Inventory.9 votes -
Asset Management, with ability to print asset labels, scan QR codes, and checkin and checkout equipment from one application
I'm currently evaluating Atera as a potential replacement for our existing help desk, which is lacking a really good asset management system. What I'm specifically needing is a better way to all of our assets as they come in the door and leave our environment for use. Ideally, the application would allow us to print labels in a variety of sizes for different devices and equipment, scan QR codes to checkin and checkout equipment (reserve equipment on the spot), complete maintenance surveys and allow users to take photos of equipment through the mobile app, and if I'm being a little…

Work in the background without disturbing users
I would like to be able to perform tasks in the background, so the user is not disturbed. Just today, I had to confirm drive mappings, ut had to interfere with the users' workflow to do so. I know other remote software can do this to at least some degree.

Alert panel on device dashboard
The Alerts panel on the device dashboard currently is pretty useless. It would be nice to see some context beyond "2 potential CVE(s) detected" or "1 unmonitored device(s) have been detected. Atera's issue is that you have to jump to so many different dashboards just to get basic information. It would also be nice to see a remediation path on the device itself for the detected CVEs

Would be nice if device info would make a difference between domain and workgroup
Device info shows the Domain or Workgroup but does not tell what it is. Domain or Workgroup makes a hugh difference in troubleshooting

Network, disks and processes graphical information
Right now when you go to one of your servers or clients you will see a graph with the average CPU and Memory usage.
It would be great to have additional graphs for disk and network related statistics.
The things I'm thinking of immediately is a graph to show me the history of diskspace. It would be great to see that 14 days ago i had 100GB in use and today i have 120GB in use. Other things could be maybe IO and reads/writes
And for network it would be great if I could see that 2 days ago interface…3 votes -
RDP Option when Splashtop fails to connect
Splashtop works great most of the time but every once and a while, no matter how many times you try, it fails to connect. RDP as an option under "More Tools" would save the day. This is available in other RMM providers and works wonderfully.

Functionality to create automatic maintenance schedules
Currently there is no option to create schedules where devices automatically go into, and out of, maintenance mode where no alerts are generated. This would be extremely useful as we have regular patching windows, client requested maintenance windows, etc where we need to make sure that no alerts are created. Thank you.
