Use a Monitoring Device to SSH/CLI
With monitored device setup you should be able to add the option to SSH/CLI into the device monitored. So the AteraAgent (that doing the monitoring) handles the connection to the device to ssh. For example port 80/443 unreachable but device locally is reachable. Can use the monitored device quick to get into troubleshoot.

Custom fields in device note not visible
Custom Field Device Notes Not Persisting
Issue:
Custom field device notes are not visible by default. To view them, the field needs to be expanded. However, once the page is refreshed or navigated away from, the field collapses again and does not remain in the expanded state.Expected Behavior:
Device notes should either be visible by default or remain expanded after leaving and returning to the page.Actual Behavior:
The field always collapses, requiring manual expansion each time.Impact:
This makes it inconvenient to quickly review notes and reduces usability.1 vote -
task manager
Have Task Manager be more of a representation of what you would see on the Desktop computer. It would be nice to have the different tabs, easier searching for the task we need to end, and graphs of hardware usage.

Option for old design (for quicker access to all information)
The new design sucks. It takes at least one additional click to see information that was visible right away. I like the customization, but I lose time because 80%+ of the stuff I need now takes longer. Please give the option to keep using the old design.

Add "device name" column to devices table
Add true "device name" column option so that we can list devices by both Atera/friendly name and the PC name.
I renamed a computer in Atera to be more easily identified, but the devices table only shows the custom name. It would be helpful to have them side by side.

Increased Device Filter Options
Filtering for devices by Disk Type doesn't seem to be an option - We can sort by size, free space, model, bitlocker status, but not by disk type.
We still have some spinning rust and are upgrading them as we find them. I would LOVE to filter out the device list by systems that need an upgrade.

Have a pane to show all the tickets of the device on the device page. That way everything is there, links to remote access, device metrics, activity log (and all the tickets associated with the device).

Top header for devices
Love the new top header with the ability to see phone and adjust info displayed. Thanks
When we are on a device that is linked to a contact, can we see the contact info at the top? Phone, Title etc.

Devices View: "is in" as additional Advanced Filter
Regarding the "Devices" view, under Filters > Advanced Filters, we’d like to have an additional option in the dropdown for "is in", allowing us to provide a comma-separated list of terms to filter the result set we need.
This functionality becomes especially useful when we require more granular control, as is often the case in administrative tasks. We frequently reach a point where we need to generate very specific lists in order to assign tasks to devices in a more targeted way.
A good example is when assigning Automation Profiles. If we need to do this on a per-agent basis,…

Windows settings and control panel
We need to be able to change Windows Settings and Control Panel features from Atera. We have many end-users who must have specific settings on their devices. Atera should have this on RMM services. I do not have enough time to write a script for each item every time an end-user requests it.

Assign Folder to Department
It would be very helpful to have the ability to assign a device folder to a department. That way when we browse to a department we have a list of all devices that are currently associated with it. I know that you can assign a device to a user to achieve a similar effect, but that doesn't cover a few use cases like some users having multiple devices, devices that are used by multiple users, or public devices that are not associated to any specific user.

Real time user information.
The system provides real-time information on the current users who are logged in, allowing for easy monitoring of active sessions. Additionally, it tracks periods of inactivity, notifying administrators if there has been no user activity for a certain amount of time. This feature helps ensure that any idle sessions can be promptly addressed, improving security and system efficiency.

Restart User Notification
When scheduling a device to restart, the notification to user is way too short and in some cases it goes away immediately.
I would like to:
A) set a timer so user can save their work etc
B) Have an option of custom canned messages or allow for a custom message to be added. That way if we need an user to stop using a machine while we work on it they can save their work and be notified.

Make the search bar at the top of the Atera Dashboard search for custom fields in devices
It would be great to let the search bar index the custom fields of devices. We have Notes and other custom fileds that help us identify some devices. It would be great if we could quickly find them through the custom field values.

Device counter
Seems like it should just be a basic function so it's weird that it's not already there.
But, it would be really helpful if there was a counter at the top of the Devices list for customers showing the total number of devices. It's kind of silly to have to run a report just to see how many devices a customer has.

In the add new device - SNMP screen, search the Managing Device field by customer name
In the add new device - SNMP screen, search the Managing Device field by customer name. We have a LOT of customer and they have a LOT of devices. As it stand now, the only way to navigate through that screen is to scroll down with the side bar or the mouse wheel. Using the keyboard takes you to the first device with that letter, but that can be problematic since the first client has a device named "Server" but I needed to find a client down in the S's...
