  1. If a reboot is scheduled, it is not possible to see if a reboot is scheduled or when the reboot will happen. It would be helpful if the devices-view could show the date and time of the scheduled reboot. Maybe the "reboot required"-column could change to date/time if a reboot is scheduled. Or an additional column with date /time of the scheduled reboot could be added to the view?

  2. I'm currently evaluating Atera as a potential replacement for our existing help desk, which is lacking a really good asset management system. What I'm specifically needing is a better way to all of our assets as they come in the door and leave our environment for use. Ideally, the application would allow us to print labels in a variety of sizes for different devices and equipment, scan QR codes to checkin and checkout equipment (reserve equipment on the spot), complete maintenance surveys and allow users to take photos of equipment through the mobile app, and if I'm being a little…

  3. Splashtop works great most of the time but every once and a while, no matter how many times you try, it fails to connect. RDP as an option under "More Tools" would save the day. This is available in other RMM providers and works wonderfully.

  4. Currently there is no option to create schedules where devices automatically go into, and out of, maintenance mode where no alerts are generated. This would be extremely useful as we have regular patching windows, client requested maintenance windows, etc where we need to make sure that no alerts are created. Thank you.

  5. I would like to be able to perform tasks in the background, so the user is not disturbed. Just today, I had to confirm drive mappings, ut had to interfere with the users' workflow to do so. I know other remote software can do this to at least some degree.

  6. We deploy a lot of LTE/5G capable devices. It would be helpful if the device IMEI could be fetched and displayed in the hardware info.

  7. The public IP address displayed on a device is helpful to know where the device is physically located. Maybe it's at a customer site. Maybe they are working remote.

Trouble is I have to memorize public IP addresses to figure out where the device is physically located.

This is helpful to identify Internet/firewall networking issue or if the user is in the building today.

I'd like to see the customer/site have a public IP (or multiple IPs) that would display on the device info.

Or do a reverse DNS lookup on the public IP and display that on the device.

  10. Enhance our monitoring capabilities by introducing a new feature similar to ActivTrak, which allows for advanced productivity tracking and the identification of suspicious activity on monitored computers.

We kindly request that Atera consider adding a feature that would enable us to:

    1. Monitor Productivity: The new feature should provide insights into how employees are utilizing their time on company devices. This would include tracking application usage, website visits, and active/idle time, allowing us to identify potential areas of improvement in our workflows and employee productivity.

    2. Capture Screenshots: To ensure transparency and security, the feature should include the ability to capture periodic…

  11. I am used to using Teamviewer where I can set a password that only I know before accessing the device. I even have the option to do MFA so I get prompted on my phone if I want to allow the remote connection into a device. These features would be great on Atera.

  13. Add a check box for devices that currently have monitoring disabled, there is one for monitored but I want to see a list of devices without monitoring enabled without individually going through them.

  14. The most recent UI update is causing the device names to be cut off and unreadable. That column in the device list also seems to be the only one that can't be resized. Can you please update the new UI device list so that the full device name is readable or so that the column can be permanently resized? Another improvement to help with this would be to get rid of the AI icon that now shows up beside each one. We don't need this and it further restricts space for the device name to be displayed.

  15. The platform is missing the option to update software inventory manually in bulk.
Currently it is possible to update the software inventory manually per device by clicking on Manage > Software Inventory but this is not feisable if one needs to quickly update the software inventory list on many devices.
For example after attempting to remove an application or list of applications from all devices and checking the results.
An alternative would be have a shortcut to the next agent in the Devices list on the Agent console so that one does not need to go back to the Devices…

  16. Now.
    You find you template.
Create an Device, then import SMNP Template.
When you change the template, it is not imported automatically.
You have to Delete all SNMP OID's (otherwhise dubble import)
    Import the script again,

This is an hassle if you want to make the change for all devices that use that SNMP Template.

    Better:
Just make it work like with an Threshold Profile.

  17. Have a pane to show all the tickets of the device on the device page. That way everything is there, links to remote access, device metrics, activity log (and all the tickets associated with the device).

  19. When you filter your devices into folders like we do (servers. workstations, production) You lose some important view that can only be viewed by the "all" tab I would like to see all the stats under the filtered folder view like patches, health and frankly all others.
