  1. emailed alerts for endpoint issues need to have customer name and endpoint name in EVERY alarm subject line, not just some and or not just the word "problem"

  2. We have been seeing some computers recently hit 100% disk activity and stay that way for several minutes. Occasional spikes may not be a problem, but when a computer hits 100% disk activity and stay that way for a while, we want to be alerted.

    The current settings do have the percentage, but having a time frame like the other alerts would make this trigger actually usable. As it is, we had to turn it off because too many little spikes were triggering alerts that we have to manually remove. Being able to set the threshold to something like disk…

  3. Allow the option to set a period of time to NOT send alerts. For example, "If device has out-of-date patches for more than 3 days, Alert".

    This is an option for hardware thresholds (CPU temp above 60C for 15 minutes). Our reports throw a lot of red flags for items that are scheduled daily or every 3 days. I want the reports/alerts to trigger if there has been a persistent issue, not if there happens to be an issue at the time of reporting.

  4. Auto-healing script log.

    There is no way of knowing a script has run against an agent or see its output if it was executed as part of an Auto-healing script in a Threshold Profile.

    You can see if a Technician runs a script & see its output, just not if it was automatic.

    Needs to be logged in the Recent Processes so a timeline of actions can be viewed & also in the Audit Log for audit purposes.

  6. If availability monitoring is enabled for a device, Atera sends alerts when that device goes offline. However, it would be very useful if it would also send a notification when the device is back online (after a reboot for example). This is a basic feature and a must-have in my opinion.

  7. iOS APP Filter for alerts just like the website.
    I want to view only critical ones without enabling the notifications and selecting critical.
    it is not doable with current app feature.

  8. Ability to detect if a device alarm has already created a ticket and then add to it and not open a new ticket.

    currently atera creates a ticket from an alarm. If the ticket is not closed and the alarm is retriggered, a new ticket is created. I would like Atera to recognize this and add the alarm to the existing ticket rather than creating a new ticket.

    Per this link above, There is a feature which was released about reboot required.

    However in real practice, We cant get benefit from such.

    I propose there should be certain addition in regards to Reboot Required Indicator.

    1) Alerting when and which device require a reboot
    2) From Device Page, We should be able to Filter out the Reboot Required items
    3) Reporting - There should be a dedicated report in regards to this

    Hope all the community agree to this and together we strive to make Atera a Great Product !

I'm currently trialing Atera, and loving the platform so far - the only thing I'd suggest with network/monitoring and alerts is having the option to select numerous agents as the network monitor - for example with SNMP or generic, reason for this is, if your monitoring agent is offline; I've noticed with generic it doesn't show that your devices that are being monitored by the agent as offline. Perhaps have a round-robin method of monitoring, thus if a monitoring agent is offline but another is online it'll still monitor your network devices - but also, with that being said if…

  12. we had to switch to script-based queries for Windows Event logs because Atera does not allow custom labeling for alerts in the alert dashboard. The events are signaled with an Atera-specific label and the corresponding event ID. Since we operate the alarm dashboard on a wall-mounted TV for quick responses, it is not helpful to only see "just an event ID". As a custom name for alerts is possible for scripts but not for event log queries, we suspect that your development team may have simply overlooked this.   13. I would like to have the ability to add multiple warning and critical alerts for "HardDisk Usage" in a single Treshold Profile. I want to add different warning/critical tresholds for separate hard disk drives.

    I.e: C-drive (system drive) has a warning alert on 85% full and a critical alert on 90%. D,E,F-drives have warning alerts on 90% and a critical alert on 95%.

  14. I set up the successful logon alert and immediately was being bombarded by alerts of SYSTEM accounts. Can we tune this to where we can specify of it's something like an Interactive login instead? Reason - We manage some servers where a corporation has access as well and we would like an audit of what actual USER is logging into the system, not when the SYSTEM or a remote file is being accessed. Why does no one implement this from the start?

  17. Notifications via pushover NEEDS to be an option. The Atera phone app is not reliable and doesn;t keep going off when there is a notification. Plus it keeps needing to be logged into for the ability to see the alerts but most of the time they still don't show up after logging back into the app.

    Give the ability to send notifications to Pushover so Atera RMM would detect that a node is offline that we want monitored and push the notification as a urgent notification to Pushover. The Pushover app then will keep alerting on your device until you…

  19. I think a nice optional feature would be to have optional sound alerts that a ticket has been created. As an IT professional I am not always looking at my dashboard and occasionally am delayed in responding to tickets due to the fact that I am not alerted like the other sound alerts.

  20. I have two or more drives to monitor and I am only allowed to monitor all or none with the same threshold. I wish to monitor two drives differently. One set to 90% and one set to 4GB for critical.
