Hello,
You can check if a device requires a reboot on the following pages:
- Devices page (Pending reboot is column you can add and filter by), same for Devices tab in Customer/Site menu
- Patch management Dashboard (Overview tab, top right tile / Devices tab)In addition, you can execute the reboot in bilk (Screenshot). Regarding "Reason", you can click on the number of patches to see if the reboot is required to complete the installation or not.

Hello,
This feature has been released. You can add this as a column to Devices Page/Tab and do a Bulk action. (Screenshot attached)

It would be great to include why a reboot is required... namely:
- Windows Update
- Software update
- File Rename Pending Operations -

We have multiple Autodesk users who use desktops in the office but also have laptops for site visits. It would be great to be able to assign more than one device to a user.

It would be beneficial for your RMM software to have a feature that allows sorting by Reboot required. This would enable the system to organize devices by the need to restart them. By doing so, you can prioritize actions based on which devices require immediate attention, thereby enhancing your overall efficiency.

At min, we should be able to see which registry entry triggered the flag.

Per this link above, There is a feature which was released about reboot required.
However in real practice, We cant get benefit from such.
I propose there should be certain addition in regards to Reboot Required Indicator.
1) Alerting when and which device require a reboot
2) From Device Page, We should be able to Filter out the Reboot Required items
3) Reporting - There should be a dedicated report in regards to thisHope all the community agree to this and together we strive to make Atera a Great Product !

There needs to be an easier way to see which devices require a reboot. I can't check the tooltips next to hundreds of devices only. The tooltips are too cumbersome!

The new feature that shows that devices have a "reboot required" is good, but has some issues as implemented. Actually, it shows that a reboot is required reading a lot of registry entries, which are not critical. Only a few registry entries show when a reboot is really necessary. On the actual "Devices" view, we keep restarting our computers and they never get out of the "reboot required" status. When I check, some very old and unnecessary entries are still shown in the registry that cause this behavior.

it will be great to have `Last Reboot Time` option on advance filter

I do like the "reboot needed" alert on the device view, but when I look at the device list it is a little misleading. It looks like the "reboot needed" means that if the available updates are installed it will need a reboot. It would be great if there was also an alert for a "pending" reboot needed. Meaning that updates have already been installed and the computer needs rebooting.. but is hasn't been allowed to reboot yet. What I see sometimes is that users will postpone reboots after updates have been installed. Often when they do that we get a call that something isn't working right on the computer... that magically fixes itself after we have them reboot. Having an alert that we can add to thresholds to let us know when a computer needs to be rebooted, especially for servers, would really help.

I also notice significant delays in the alert icons presence in the device list view. After a reboot the indicator stays around for a long time. I haven't timed it.. but it's a long time. It needs to be more dynamic.

The pending reboot alert icon is only available in device list view. It should also be available in the device detail page.
