We have an existing help desk system that has the onboarding feature - our hiring manager setups the new employee ticket... the new employee (before they start) completes a questionnaire, and once they hit submit a series of tickets opens up for IT, Accounting, Marketing and others. We have the option to setup orchestration to create user accounts in Azure, but I'm not ready for that today. The onboarding feature is a really important piece for all of our teams. There are some things about that system I'm a little frustrated with and was hoping Atera would have that in place.

This is something my team has also discussed would be a great tool to have. Specific to onboarding a check list of items to be done or approved and with having the ability to notify the responsible partied once their portion of the onboarding needs to be completed.

We have over 300 people to onboard. AD sync worked great, but without firing a welcome email (or having the ability to send them ad-hoc), i was advised by support to use ticket automation (over 300 tickets OMG), or have the users use the "forgot password" link in the portal. Needless to say, very unprofessional.
This is a basic and essential onboarding practice, there's no logic why this feature should be under review for over a year.

It would be nice if the new Azure/O365 contact sync could some how also work as a onboarding / offboarding feature as well. Meaning that when a new contact is added / synced for the company it would trigger provisioning for features such as client install link sent to that users email address.

Also a onboarding feature that you can share knowledge with your new employee that shows the workflows and guides in my company, and a checklist for the company's workflow when a new employee arrives

This would be a great addition to Atera. If an authorised contact from a client can request a new employee and that creates a ticket for us with tick boxes that we have to complete before the ticket can be closed then that would be good. Those ticket boxes will contain standard requirements that we would have for all clients and then specific global ones for the actual client and then ones for the job role.
