Windows Update from devices dashboard
Need the ability to push out windows updates en masse from the devices dashboard, similar to pushing a script to multiple computers or assigning an automation profile. This would come in handy when something was missed during a scheduled install or a batch of new machines.

More Granularity In Update Postponement
Currently the only options when selecting to "Postpone" updates on Window is "Critical" and "Non-critical".
With this in place, Microsoft Defender Definition updates are getting marked as "Non-critical" and therefore stop any ability to actual have "Non-critical" updates be postponed without making devices less secure.
Allow more granularity in which specific types of updates we can postpone with different timelines, e.g. put in line with the options in OS Patch Management:
Critical updates
Security Updates
- Security updates
- Definition updates
- Update rollups
Service Packs
- Service pack updates
- Feature packs
- Updates
Drives and tools
- Hardware driver updates
- Office updates
- Tool updates

Option to delay the Patch & Automation Feedback Report
It would be great if there was a way to delay the Patch & Automation Feedback Report. We get alot of "false" Reports because some of the devices are offline when the Patch Management and IT Automation is scheduled. Lets say the device gets started 1-2 Hours after the schedule - the updates get done later but the report says it has failed. This makes it very time consuming for us because we have to lookup every device seperatly and see if the updates were completed or not.

IT Automation List Integration
When using an IT Automation to deploy software, I need the ability to import a CSV file where Atera will use this list based on device name and domain name to deploy software.

could we implement something where if a device was offline for 60 days for example it would automatically retire the device?

Admin access for installing software packages on a Mac
We have to install software remotely on new devices, we cannot install these without elevated or admin access on Mac's. Can you add this to the software installation section? We have the option to create software bundles but when we run the bundle, it wont install applications that require admin/elevated permissions.

power management
I work in a higher education environment, which means we have computer labs and commons. It would be great to have configuration profiles that can set power plans to entire labs so that during peak periods the computers can be awake and ready for students to use, but then allowed to go to sleep after hours.

Allow Users to Defer Patch during Specific Window
We face issues with the current patch management options. We try to schedule our patches at night to avoid impacting users, but this doesn't work for many laptops that are powered off in people's bags. The new automation queuing feature helps with this quite a bit, but takes too long to apply updates in many cases. Users will begin working and then an hour later the machine will suddenly reboot on them. We would like the option to force the machines to reboot at night, but to allow users to defer a reboot if it arrives during business hours.

Sequential Execution and Post-Reboot Resumption in IT Automation Profiles
Dear Atera Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
As we strive to automate repetitive IT tasks, I’ve been leveraging Atera’s IT Automation Profiles to streamline end-user device provisioning. While this feature has significantly improved our workflow, I’ve encountered a limitation that affects its full potential.
Scenario:
Our provisioning process includes steps like:- Reinstalling or formatting used devices (or setting up new ones).
- Renaming devices based on Asset Tags.
- Installing the Atera agent, which initiates IT Automation Profiles to perform tasks such as: Installing software bundles. Running scripts (e.g., adding devices to Active Directory).

Option not to send ticket notification to specific customers or condition "contains not" in ticket automation rules
some customers don't wanna get notification mails
it would be great to have an option at cusomer data not to send such mailsit would much better, to have that option an the ticket too and its set to the value of the customer on ticket creation.
so we could see if the customer usually gets mails but decide for an other option at creation of a ticketalternatively a condition "contains not" at ticket automation rules could be a workaround
send mail if customer name contains not "(no mail)"4 votes -
Suspend Bitlocker during reboot which has been initiated by Atera
On especially laptop's we have enrolled Bitlocker with extended passphraseduring boot which means that as soon as the laptop passes bios it will ask for the passphrase/key/pin.
MS self bypasses this during an upgrade but it would be nice if we could implement this feature (selectable) so that on patch reboot we don't have to call the customer to ask him to enter the password to continue working on the device.4 votes -
Updates and Patching
A possibility to update software and apps that were not installed via chocolatey and homebrew would be a very important function. This should also be possible for installations that already exist when the Atera Agent was installed.

https monitoring script
I am monitoring a website via HTTPS. When the website goes down it requires a restart of the service. I have created a script that does this. It has to be run on the host manually as there is no link between the alert and the host.
can we have have an option that when the HTTPS monitoring triggers an alert that it has the option to run a script on a host. Still alert to the issue but perhaps be able to resovle it automatically and right away.

Vendor-Specific patch management
I know the Atera patch management function uses the WUA API to perform tasks, but additional functionality based on a device's vendor would be very helpful. I've noticed that patch management can often miss BIOS and firmware updates rolled out by vendors like Dell or HP, if Windows Update doesn't catch them.

Windows 11 Automatically Restarting after Upgrade Push
Currently when you push a Windows 11 upgrade to a device and that upgrade finishes installing, the user will get a brief notification that the device will be restarted soon and then it forces a restart. It would be good if there was a way to either have the automatic restart disabled so they user can restart the computer at their choosing or have the upgrade follow whatever Configuration Profile is setup for that device so that it follows the companies normal patching installation procedures.

biweekly automations
When creating an automation profile there is no clean way of creating an automation that runs every other week.
For example I wish to run a secondary backup every other Friday. Currently you have to choose Friday for weekly and disable it every other week.1 vote -
Threshold Hysteresis
When disk space goes over my 80% threshold I get a warning, that's great. But 79.999% doesn't constitute "Resolved", I'd like to set the hysterises level (say to 5%, it's defacto 0% right now) so the warning comes in at 82% and is considered resolved at 78%. By adding this degree of hysteresis, the flood of Alert Problem / Alert Resolved messages is reduced.

Patch Management, IT Automation, and Script retry option, when executed allow the agent to retry a specified number of times before failing
Patch Management, IT Automation, and Script retry option, when executed allow the agent to retry a specified number of times before failing. This would prevent a lot of automation failures, and fix 90% of the issues I have with Atera.
