Ticket SLA warning
It would be really helpful if we could set up an automation rule that would alert us if a ticket is going over a certain SLA. Our SLA is 4 hours and so the system should be able to send an email to us - or a designated manager - to alert them of the fact.

Use External Ticket Number
Allow for tickets to retain the ticket number from an external system.
We currently have another ticket system for all business systems in another application, but use Atera for all itsupport requests.
We want emails that are forwarded from that system to Atera (via automation) to retain the ticket number so any correspondence will be stored in both Atera and the external system.
currently a new ticket would be generated on each reply

Email notifications for tech responses to client email
You can configure TARs to send email notifications to the technician every time the client responds to a ticket via email or via the portal, but you can't configure TARs to send email notifications to the client every time the technician responds to a ticket via email or the portal. The closest thing to this is enabling the feature "Send ticket reply to contacts by email" in the Email Settings, but that's aesthetically awful as with each reply snowballs into a long thread and becomes unreadable.

Indicator that product has been added to a ticket
When a product has been added to a ticket an icon or some indicator within that ticket should appear so you know there is product attached to that ticket and then don't have to open the products/expenses section to check for product.

Ability to Assign a Ticket Title
It would be extremely helpful to be able to assign a Title to tickets. It would be extremely helpful to see the Title of a ticket. This would give me an idea of what the ticket is about as opposed to having to either log into the console or access the mobile app to see what the ticket is. Being able to see a preview of the ticket would let me know immediately what tickets deserve immediate attention versus tickets that can wait.

Creating Auto Tickets for specific Threshold Alerts
It would be awesome to be able to setup an auto ticket for specific threshold Alerts. For instance if Disk Usage reaches 85%, a ticket can automatically be created. Right now, you can set an auto ticket to generate for all Critical or all Warnings. I would like to be able to specify which threshold alert to create an auto ticket for.

Create Custom Tags
Being able to create our own custom tags for ticket automation would be very beneficial. Setting a tag using ticket automation rules is already possible, so this addition would be a huge improvement.
17 votesHey, thanks for posting your feedback!
Adding manual tags is available, please refer to this knowledge base article for more information: https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011044199-Use-Ticket-Tags-#h_01FCB81V2DYEAP6ZYZJGNW56SW

Auto-Calculate amount due according to Ticket completion time
When a ticket is assigned to a customer with a specific contract, that contract has a rate as well. When a technician sets the time he/she took to complete the ticket, it is less than the amount of time according to the rate. If the rate is $200 per hour, but the ticket only took 24 minutes, can Atera please add a function to then calculate the amount due for the 24 minutes instead of the $200 for a full hour.

Solution/Solved Tag in tickets + Solution Search
You have just been dealing with a difficult case, after hours/days you finally nail it and solve it. You feel great, the world is at your feet, other techs look upon you with awe as if a God walks among them.
Now what you really want to do is add a note to your ticket "This issue was solved by doing the following..." and you provide a summary or link to the article you followed, and then tick a lovely check box that says "this update contains a solution" or something similar.
This will mark this ticket update as searchable,…

Time entries. Rounding above 30 seconds should round up and not down to the nearest minute.
I've noticed that time entries always round down on the minute.
So 1 minute 50 seconds shows as 1 minute on the time entry.
I assume this is a visual thing on the ticket view and not how its calculated for contract billing.
Because we can end up with times when we have a lot of small entries and if its rounded all of those down for the bill contract we could be losing out on a lot of time (money billable).3 votes -
Email from unknown Contacts and noreply@
Applies to:
Admin > Settings > Tickets
Contacts
TicketsWhen an email arrives to our helpdesk it creates a ticket, which in turn a response is sent to the sender by the helpdesk.
In some cases we want to block that sender. In other cases we want the email, but an automated reply from the helpdesk creates a loop in email responses as "unmonitored email address".Please add additional options on the Admin > Settings > Tickets screen.
So we can setup a few automated processes from unknown contacts (not already in our system), AND how to deal with "noreply"…4 votes -
Ticket Standard Response
The default response in a ticket is sent with the sender of the company and not with the sender of the e-mail settings.
You should have the possibility to create these mails as a template yourself.

Ability to assign a device to a ticket regardless of contact
So recently we discovered that when you assign a device to a ticket, it assigns that same device to any ticket associated with the ticket contact. So let's say you have 4 tickets open for the same user, if you assign a device to one of those tickets, Atera assigns that same device to all of that user's tickets.
This is problematic for may of our clients because we have quite a few clients that utilize multiple systems whether it be they have a desktop and a laptop or sometimes it may be something like a multi-user device where the…

Ticket Submissions Without Login
Please add the ability to allow "New or Existing users to submit a ticket without the need to login to the portal.
The ability to embed a form or something on my website that give users the ability to submit a ticket which can then be updated or attached to a client from the admin side, or automatically based on their domain.
I have found that clients often forget to use the support portal and end up sending tickets to my personal email, to which then I must go manually create the ticket.
