    The AMD counterpart for Intel AMT is AMD DASH, which is available on AMD Pro CPU/APUs. As mentioned above, this is very helpful in providing out-of-band management.

    This includes:

    - KVM over IP capabilities to remotely manage devices before they have booted (eg making BIOS changes), or even while turned off.
    - Remote power control, even with the device turned off.
    - Boot redirection.
